Positive: We arrived late after a journey delayed by road works and bad weather. The staff were wonderful and friendly, so helpful and informed the kitchen so we were able to have a wonderful meal and drinks in the cosy bar, and really relax after a long day. Big thanks to the team.

Positive: This is a very nice hotel in a charming small town, it has a good restaurant and an excellent breakfast and some very helpful and pleasant staff, be warned the portions are huge but delicious

Negative: We booked a double room sometime before arriving and we were given a small twin with strange built in beds and a disabled shower room, we went back to desk 4 times to see if we could be moved and there were no front house staff so we gave up and ask a waiter in the restaurant if we could get extra pillows,which never came, we went to the restaurant at seven and there was never any one on the front desk during the evening We had breakfast and went to pay there was a very pleasant girl and she tried to sort it out with the owner but she told us it was a mistake and we should have sorted it out the night before and was most unpleasant We paid a lot over the odds as the rooms were advertised much cheaper on the day than we paid We believe there were 2 large coach parties in and they got priority over us and we got what was left
