Positive: Great location and nice breakfast. We stayed in the family loft which was nice and spacious.
Negative: The family loft room is spacious but is a bit outdated. The kitchen facilities were ok but the fridge needed an extra clean on arrival due to some broken eggs having been left inside, but this was promptly dealt with. It would be great if there was more cutlery and glasses provided (there were no forks and limited cups). The shower was quite small, but to be expected in such an old building.

Positive: The breakfast was great, The one th for the water that really tastes weird/not good.
Negative: It was extremely hot in our room; much hotter than outside. We asked the staff why and they did not seem to know. We think that the hot water tank must have been located next to our room but the person at the reception seemed to say that there were hot pipes running under each room (this might be true but our room was exceptionally hot despite of the fact that we kept the curtains closed all day to avoid the room heating up). We also thought that the room was small and not modern at all (we realise that it is an old building but the shower and toilet had clearly not been renovated for a long time). Moreover, they made us pay extra for a baby bed (300 SEK). They had told us beforehand by messages, but it should have been clearer at the time of the reservation and payment of the room. For all these reasons, we thought that this place was overpriced.

Positive: Lovely little place near a public garden and within walking distance of most of the portion of Visby within the wall. We had our own spacious balcony with a view of the hotel's garden. The rooms were simple but quite comfortable and clean.
Negative: Narrow stairs typical of an old building were difficult for my mother to negotiate frequently, so if you have a difficult time with stairs ask for a room on the ground floor. The restaurant isn't open in the evening and it's a few blocks to a pub. These were minor issues for me.
