Summary: We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness and hospitality really set the tone for our visit. Our room was on the basement level, but it was very quiet and had clearly been recently renovated. Everything was spotless and tastefully designed. The bed was large and comfortable, the TV was big, and there was even a private sauna — a luxurious and relaxing bonus. The cute wallpaper added to the cozy, elegant feel. My wife especially loved the room. She kept saying, “I want to stay another night,” and “Next time, we must stay here again.” That’s how much we enjoyed it. The courtyard was another lovely touch. Peaceful and well-kept, it offered biscuits and coffee upon arrival. We sat there and enjoyed a calm, elegant moment — the perfect start to our stay. Breakfast was served in a bright, beautiful room with a nice view. The selection was simple but included everything we needed, and we were completely satisfied. We also fell in love with the charming streets of Gotland. It’s a place we’d love to return to, and when we do, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again. Comfort, design, and heartfelt service made this visit truly memorable.

Summary: Historic hotel with ancient church ruins as one wall of our room. Delicious breakfast buffet with local cheeses and honey. Near the center of the walled Old Town, convenient to restaurants, shops, grocery store, and cathedral. Staff were friendly, helpful, and considerate, and spoke excellent English.

Summary: Visby is the city said to be the model of the Japanese anime movie “Kiki's Delivery Service”. We went from Stockholm in the morning, visited Visby during the day, and stayed at this hotel overnight. Visby was a beautiful and cute town, just like in the movies. And this hotel made me feel like I was staying right in the city. Clean, cute, cozy rooms and facilities, friendly owners, delicious breakfast, and low cost of stay. This was my first visit to Visby and I can't compare it to others, but I think you can't go wrong with this hotel.

Summary: Amazing hotel with great staff! I will definitely be back! Some of the things I appreciate the most was the beautiful buildings adjacent to the old church ruin, very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, I could easily check in during the night since my boat came in after midnight - much appreciated!

Summary: Comfortable stay by the ruins. Each room is unique. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful, typical Swedish, and delicious. Bike rentals onsite were very convenient.

Summary: This hotel was magical! Slightly away from the din of the main square, Hotell St. Clemens nonetheless feels extremely accessible and close to everything. We were a family of four wit h small children, and they were able to accommodate us by adding two small beds. The property is beautiful and is adjacent to the St. Clemens ruins, which makes this just about the most unique hotel I’ve been to. The breakfast spread and available fika all day in the garden was so pleasant. I hope to come back one day and stay again!
