Positive: The hotel was very cute, and the staff was kind and warm. We liked that they called ahead to ask if we wanted them to prepare a crib for our baby. The dinner and breakfast were good, and the atmosphere was great. We had a lovely time!
Negative: The only thing to mention is that our room got extremely warm, because there was a heatwave in Sweden at this time. There was a fan in the closet that we could use. I only mention this if you’re booking this place spontaneously, and there is a heatwave. Otherwise the room was simple, and very cute.
Summary: We are happy with our stay and will recommend it to our friends.

Positive: Location just fantastic with beautiful old buildings set in a wonderful garden. Stunning views over the lake Siljan just across the road. Breakfast was very good quality with a wide assortment of food and beverages.
Negative: Sunny and warm days some of the rooms would obviously require better curtains and/or exterior sun protection. Beds a bit towards the soft side.
Summary: A hotel with lots of character and charm, set in a historic location with wonderful gardens.
