Positive: The hosts Merita and Emory were exceptionally kind, thoughtful and always cheery. The food was homemade and superb. Homemade bread and fog jelly. Meditation is a fantastic cook/chef. The setting is comfortable and relaxed. Overly garden and sitting areas or decks where you can just sit or have dinner. Town is an ancient stone village by the lake. Women selling homemade wares and canned goods by the road. Seems like a 100 years ago. Pleasant and charming. The lake is springfed and clear. Very pretty. The hosts will do everything they can to make you comfortable and happy. I wanted my cross border permit printed. They got their son involved and we spent more than an hour after checkout getting my phone able to connect to their printer so we could complete the task. Exceptional in every way.

Negative: The stairs to the room are a little narrow for carrying suitcases, but Emory will do this. The shower will allow water to go into bathroom, but this is minor. There really is nothing to complain about.

Positive: This was a great 3 nights for us. The unit is immaculate, very well stocked, and enjoys a great view. The hosts are the real treasures of this small guest house. They are warm, friendly and go out of their way to assist and accommodate. They make you feel like family. We also enjoyed the home cooked suppers and breakfasts. The town of Lin is also a peaceful, unique location. Overall, we highly recommend this property and will happily return..

Positive: Organized a surprise birthday weekend to Lin for my girlfriend. The stay was superb. All the reviews were positive, and I understand why. The couple running Hous 1960 are really nice people. They're super accommodating. I asked if they could put a bubble wine and some snacks in the room for our first night. They decorated the room and provided the wine and a snack. We had breakfast and diner everyday at the place and it was all good. We really liked the stew and the fish (from the lake). All home-cooked. They even brought diner up to our room, that's so nice! I've provided photos of the menu so you can see what they offer and how much it costs. The room was great, it had a little balcony and a bathroom. Airconditioned. We rented a boat the 2nd day and had a little swim, so you guys know you can rent a row boat here as well (it's like €5 per hour). There's a small alley where you can park your car. When other people left and our car was in the way, the man offered to drive out and put the car back in the alley. Again, they went above and beyond for us. All in all a great stay and highly recommended. The village itself is peaceful and the only things really to do are visiting the basilica of Lin (a ruin), the bunker on the cliff (quite cool and nice views) and rent a boat and swim in the lake. Pogradec (the main city) is like 30mins drive if you want more buzz. We didn't, we really came for the peaceful vibes. If you want to have a peaceful stay with genuinely great people, this is your place! Oh and make sure to bring plenty of cash, because you can't pay with card.

Negative: Too be honest this is really nit picking, the bed could be more comfortable. But it's really nothing to be worried about. It still sleeps well. It's maybe inconvenient that you can't pay by card? I mean if you know you can prepare for it, but you need to plan that you have sufficient cash with you if you stay for a weekend or so.

Positive: This is a really special house in a really special village. We were pleasantly surprised by how presentable the property is, not just the bedrooms and balconies but also the garden and breakfast area. It felt like staying in someone’s home, in a good way. The couple who run the house are super friendly and cook delicious local dishes from their menu. They really take care of their guests, making sure they are comfortable and also sharing information about the local area. We enjoyed the hike of the peninsula, which takes about 2 hours in total. 2-3 nights is perfect for this delightful little village. We would definitely stay again at this property and highly recommend it to others! :-)

Negative: We liked everything about the property. If we could offer one piece of feedback, it would be to add a small kettle to each of the rooms so guests can make their own tea/coffee in the morning. Especially for those of us who are not morning people! But it was really all wonderful. :-)
