Summary: We booked the villa on the internet for two couples (4 persons) in august. The booking was via email, but all questions have been answered immediately. We had our doubts, because you never know what you get, when you book on the internet, but were positively surprised when we arrived in Galeria. We were far to early, but the owners made it possible that we could already get in the apartment. The house was newly built and 2012 was the first summer it was rented. You could see, that all materials were high quality, everything was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. The bathroom - which I think is very important - is really comfortable and clean. You have a great view from the veranda and the pool is clean and nice. There are three bakeries in walking distance (2-10 minutes) and two supermarkets (2-5 min). We could use a separate barbecue area, so there was no need to do the barbecue on the veranda. On any questions the owners were helpful and friendly. They told us about best local surfing spots and hiking possibilities. Called the local fisherman for us, to order fresh fish and gave us a contact for a boat trip. This is no commercial, anonymous apartment but a perfect spot to relax and enjoy Galeria in a cosy, small corse town/ village. We made several day trips for hiking, markets or to visit Calvi or L'Ile-rousse. We had a great time there. Thanks again Mr. & Mrs. R. Best, A.K.
