Summary: Excellent accommodation - the house is well presented and full of character. There is plenty of space and it is well equipped. It is in a small village accessed up a winding mountain road. The area is rural and unspoilt, and popular with hikers and cyclists. The house was an ideal place from which to explore locally and farther afield, including Bilbao and Santander.

Summary: We rented this house for a long weekend to explore the region. After a warm welcome from the hosts, we had a great stay in the house. It was clean and well stocked for a vacation of any length. The town was cute and lively. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking to relax and sightsee.

Summary: The house is in a perfect location to explore Viscaya. I would recommend the Menu de dia in Espaster. All the basic requirements for us were supplied like a coffee pot, basic cooking utensils and pans and a TV. It was just two of us, we used one bedroom and sleeping was comfortable enough. We were a little disappointed that we were unable to find firewood for the fireplace; but, we were also not sure how a regular fire would work as there is no fireplace screen. It appears that the fireplace is more for cooking? The hosts were very helpful and friendly. A little bird came to the kitchen window every day. I learned it was a Blue Tit after taking a tour at the Urdabai Bird Center.
