"LES HYDRANGEAS" is a charming garden house in the garden village of Varengeville sur Mer. You are 20 minutes walk from the beach of the Moutiers Gorge, located near the church. You are just minutes from the village center where you find all the shops and services The house is located at the bottom of the park of the owner's villa, you have a landscaped private garden of 900 m2, you are among the flowers in all season, rhododendrons, hydrangeas etc. Two terraces, one in wood, on each side of the house and 2 parking spaces. In the house entirely on the ground floor: an entrance and a corridor serve a separate kitchen, with a large hatch opening on the living room where you can take your meals and giving access to the lounge where you find two sofas including a convertible and to the outdoor deck-terrace with French windows. The library contains books on Impressionist painters and others who have stayed on the entire alabaster coast, on the empress SISSI who stayed in Sassetot the mauconduit, the Duchess of Berry initiator of the sea baths in Dieppe. The hallway serves the 2 independent bedrooms, the bathroom with bathtub, the separate WC and the cloakroom-lingerie. Outside 2 garden furniture, chairs and deckchairs, barbecue.

Summary: Lovely cottage, very well presented and practical. Great location, a quick walk to the shops and restaurants in the village, and close to rhe beach. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. Highly recommended for couples or families. Thank you for a great stay!

Summary: This house is very comfortable and the garden is so lovely. The owners are very kind and they thought of everything when furnishing the house. You feel very private and the garden is enclosed. We had a lovely holiday here. Varengeville-sur-Mer is a beautiful and quiet village with (one of) the most beautiful beaches of Normandy.

Summary: We had a fantastic short stay in this spotlessly clean, well equipped house surrounded by beautiful gardens. We have stayed in many houses in France over the years and met lots of lovely owners but honestly, Svetlana and Pierre are our favourites! They are close at hand; were really helpful throughout the booking process and I’ve no doubt would have been equally helpful in person if we had needed them. The truth is though everything is so well organised that we didn’t even see them until about 10 minutes before we left, when they arrived with a gift and good wishes for the journey home. It was such a relief NOT to have that awkward guided tour on arrival, as if we couldn’t recognise a bathroom without help. It’s always our least favourite part of a Vrbo booking and I wish more owners adopted the approach of Pierre and Svetlana. Special note for any Brits staying here. As you know, the number of things that we do better than the French have been dwindling over the years. By my calculations the only thing we have left are ‘a more corrupt government’ and ‘superior pillows’. Hopefully the former is about to change but I fear the French are never going to grasp the joys of a rectangular, firmer pillow. Take your own! :-)

Summary: This is our second visit because we enjoyed it so much last year. Varangeville is a beautiful village and the property is set in a wonderful garden and is very private. The area is great for cycling, especially the Route de lin which is a dedicated walking and cycling route. The house is immaculately clean and well equipped and the garden is a joy to spend time in. Summary: Comfortable, impeccable lovely cottage in a very pretty village. A great place to start excursions to Dieppe, Etretat, Rouen or just relaxing in the garden. Good hiking at the doorstep. Hosts provided great local knowledge. The library is well equipped.

Summary: We spent a lovely week in the sunshine at Varengeville Sue Mer. The cottage is in a perfect location, near to some excellent local shops including a wonderful bakers and also walking distance to a very good restaurant. It is an excellent place to cycle as the roads are so quiet and the countryside is varied and interesting. The cottage has all the amenities we needed and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden. Summary: Had a lovely stay here. Garden was very well maintained, great for relaxing, lots of space and plenty of shade. Interior was modern, clean with well equipped kitchen. Plenty of useful guidebooks especially blue folder with information on local walks and beaches. Owners very helpful, gave us suggestion on animal park to visit as we had mentioned the children love animals. They also gave us restaurent recommendation for our first night.

Summary: The holiday home of mr. And mrs. Kohller is highly recommended to stay in. The cottage is fully equipped and is in perfect condition. It is a nice and cozy house and very neat and clean. Also a beautiful garden, where you can sit in the sun and also spot squirrels. Mr. and Mrs. Kohller are such hospitable people, you feel completely welcome. Nice to talk to and with that you get a lot of information about the area and sights. The village is beautifully centrally located and is a cute village with a nice bakery! We have had a wonderful relaxing stay here and will definitely come again !! We can definitely recommend this super holiday residence to anyone.
