The house is located in a small village which has a fabulous bakery a few minutes walk, where you can buy your morning bread and croissants. Located 15 minutes from Saumur and 40 minutes from Angers. Charm and character have been preserved in this charming chalet with exposed beams and traditional decor.
This charming cottage borders the road that runs along the majestic Loire. Located in the heart of the Loire Anjou Touraine National Park and classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The accommodation consists of a very comfortable living room with two sofas, British and French digital television. IPod / Iphone charger.
The well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave / grill, oven and hob and washing machine and fridge. A wide range of cutlery, utensils and various wine tasting glasses are provided allowing you to enjoy local specialties. Tea towels, gloves and apron are included.
Bathroom with bath and shower over. Hand and bath towels are provided.
TRADITIONAL in DESIGN - the cottage has two bedrooms (suites), comfortable doubles, one of the bedrooms has a cloakroom with sink and WC.
GARDENS - two gardens for dining and relaxing. The flower garden is ideal for breakfast with the morning sun and afternoon shade, while the vegetable garden is in the shade in the morning with the afternoon sun.
There is a supplement for heating (November to March). Tourist tax 0.50 euros per person per night.

Summary: The owners were very helpfuland theocation is lovely. However the property smelled musty and damp. When it rained the rain poured in through the bedroom windows soaking the carpet. There was no WiFi available for the whole stay

Summary: We found the perfect property for a week of cycling in the Loire Valley. Sitting on the banks of the Loire the property made a great base to explore the region. The home’s cool interior was welcoming after a couple of long rides in the warm French sunshine. The property is well appointed and has everything you might need. The hosts are fantastic and we’re extremely helpful and attentive. Off road parking outside the property is a bonus. We made a great choice and we’re very pleased. The attractive towns of Saumur and Angers are not too far away and made for a good day out. The property is well placed for access to the quiet back roads of the area that run through wine producing region.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was certainly spacious enough for 2 people. The kitchen was well-supplied with enough crockery and glassware to entertain a large group! The fans provided were very welcome as we stayed during the height of the heatwave. Conveniently located for a wide range of sites, museums, leisure activities. A great boulangerie and bar a short walk away, supermarkets a short drive.

Summary: The cottage is ideally located to discover the Loire Valley. Full of charm with two lovely quaint private gardens, unfortunately the cherry tree had finished fruiting. The discription corresponded precisely to the actuality, our only regret is to not have had more time to profit from the house and it's environment. Myriam and Colin, though we never had the opportunity to meet, were extremely helpful. I was more than surprised to find that the bed linen and housecleaning was included in the price. Today these services are often in addition. I would like to express my appreciation to both Colin an Myriam to have posted on to us my wife's precious nitting bag, which we accidentally left behind. If I have to make a small suggestion to improve client comfort, it would be to allow the opportunity to augment or diminue the heating to meet their needs. I understand that this is a complicated subject for all property owners as there are stories of abuse. In any case I would have been happy to have paid a supplement to have heated the house a little more. Bravo to Myriam and Colin, I would not hesitate to stay again chez vous if we ever decide to return.
