Summary: We had a wonderful time in this apartment which is located directly at the sea! A nice beach is only a few minutes away.

Summary: For us, the big selling point of this homely flat was location., literally 20 metres from the edge of the sea. We chose to sleep in the smaller of the two bedrooms in order that we could overlook the shore and go to sleep and wake up to the sound of waves just below us. The property itself was clean and had all amenities we could want, including a four burner gas hob. Unusually, we didn’t need to buy the little extras that are usually missing e.g. salt and pepper, washing up liquid, laundry soap etc. it was all there including some extras in the fridge and cupboards. The little town itself, although not particularly impressive had a tiny mini market and three eateries. It was a great location for a base and to go exploring the island from. We always drive and the local parking when coming home is free and plentiful and the local beach and surroundings feel safe and user friendly. This is not luxury but it provided a lovely experience topped by the kind, caring attention by Cristina. PS: the wifi was good enabling me to run a couple of Zoom meetings with people back home and it was possible to load our Netflix ans iPlayer accounts onto the firestick.

Summary: We really enjoyed our 6 weeks in the property. You really couldn't wish for a better view as the apartment is right on the seafront, although the downside was that it was a bit windy on the balcony at times. The owners Cristina and Graham are looking to improve the property further over time and indeed they added an oven while we were there (naturally with our prior agreement). Having said that, I must emphasise that it is already entirely satisfactory for a 'home away from home' stay and we would have no hesitation in returning. The TV reception for English programmes was variable (better at the beginning than the end of our stay for some reason) but we were able to use our Netflix access without any problems. Cristina and Graham were very helpful and friendly and we hope to be able to stay in the property again before long.

Summary: Lovely quiet seafront apartment with very Comforable beds. There are a couple of supermarkets in the village for basics and large supermarkets are only a 10 minute drive away. The property has everything you need for a great stay and has a smart TV, fire stick, DVD player and plenty of films to watch on a cosy night in. The WiFi is also very good. The owners are very friendly and helpful and available should you have any queries. The local area is great for coastal walks and there are a handful of bars that serve food a few minutes walk away. I would recommend this apartment for a lovely holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the large resorts.
