Summary: After charming mails, we were warmly welcomed to this historic family home. The house has been in the family for generations, and still retains character and features documenting the family from Verdun onward. It is located an easy walk from the village for all your needs, yet remains very quiet at night. Staying in the property is very restful, as the tiled floors keep it cool, and there are ample windows etc. to open. It's roomy. Plenty of space for probably six guests. Three beds, all of double size, spacious salon, bathroom, office room, kitchen and the loggia leading to an outside first floor terrace. The garage is beneath, and very roomy. It would probably accommodate two family cars. (Wine press included!) The loggia is thankfully at the rear of the property and hence is shaded from the midday sun, so stays comfortable. There is a small garden with olive trees across the road at the back. Lastly we must mention the view. The panorama from the loggia across the valley to St. Genies, Magalas, Puimisson and beyond is wonderful. A delight as weather moves across, constant entertainment from traffic and distant people, a platform for watching birds, sunrise, and bats at night. A huge asset. We loved our stay - we think you will too.

Summary: We had a lovely week in the house. It’s really spacious and comfortable and well equipped. We loved to sit both on the terrace with an open view and in the garden with barbeque. Easy parking in front of the house (There is also a garage). Thank you so much!

Summary: This is a fine property, but not suited to anyone with limited mobility, as all the rooms are up a flight of curved stairs. The views from the rear balcony are excellent. Murviels is good spot from which to explore this wonderful part of France.

Summary: Had two wonderful weeks in this house. We missed a couple of things in the kitchen equipment but we managed to cook anyway and it would have been nice to have some comfortable chairs out at the terrass so one could sit and enjoy the wonderful views.

Summary: We enjoyed a fabulous week at Madame Ramondenc's house in Murviel-les-Beziers. There was lots of room to enjoy including space for a bedroom each for the girls. The property has the most lovely balcony with views over the fields and a really bright and peaceful room to relax in. Kitchen facilities were great and I was able to cook some lovely food from the local market and from nearby supermarkets. There is a large garage under the property so we could put the car away in the evening. Location was great and it was only 30 mins drive to the beach - we recommend Serignan Plage. Madame Bernadette was wonderful and gave us lots of ideas for exploring including drives up into the hills as well as down towards the sea. All in all a really fabulous house in a lovely location and easy to access everything you need from there. We would love to stay again.

Summary: The house is spacious and was easy to find in Murviel-les-Beziers. Stunning views from the balcony - we saw a hawk circling. Bernadette was very welcoming and helpful in explaining where everything was, how to operate the shutters and when to put out the rubbish. She was also very accommodating when we arrived early and went to some trouble when we arrived at short notice. The history of the house is touching in respect to her ancestors which added to the atmosphere. The Mediterranean garden is pretty and a great place to sit in the shade! The use of a garage is very useful but there is also ample parking behind the house. Everyone we spoke to in the town were friendly and welcoming. The tourist centre was very helpful in providing us with maps of the area. There is certainly plenty to see and the beaches are well worth visiting. As the house sleeps six the lack of large cooking saucepans is a disadvantage as is no large casserole dish which was brought to Bernadette's attention. Some of the crockery needed cleaning before being used. We advised Bernadette to put up a sign to indicate caution when stepping out of one of the bedrooms.

Summary: The property is spacious, charming and full of character with all the modern conveniences you could want (apart from English TV but you can always read or talk or look at the stunning view over the vineyards) Situated in a pretty town, you feel very much in the countryside but in reality you are close to all the facilities you need including two supermarches Great base for exploring the region which is stunning. Nearby town of Capestang on the canal du midi is beautiful and the coast is not far away! Bernadette is very friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the area. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

Summary: Stunning property with lovely views. Large and spacious. We are a family of 3 so we travelled to the beaches a couple of times, went canoeing. some amazing scenery near by and the villages are stunning too. Definitely worth a stay here. The owner is lovely and contacts quickly too. loved the garage which is steeped in history. thank you Family Cooper Stones

Summary: We spent our June holidays with our three children in Murviel. The tastefull renovated old winegrower's house is really clean and includes all you need for your holidays. The best part of it is the great large conservatory where you can spend hours and hours enjoying the fantastic view. The owner gave us a warm welcome, helped us with a lot of insider informations and was very helpful at all. Murviel is a sympatic little town, the beaches and the Canal du Midi are good to reach. It was one of the best houses we ever rented.
