Summary: This property is literally off the beaten track! Set far away (3km) from the main road, the property sits atop a hill with stunning panoramic views. The only sound that you hear is the tinkling of the bells around the necks of the sheep who wander around the property. A tranquil paradise. The house itself is spacious and airy, with plenty of room to spread out. There is also an outdoor dining room adjacent to the house and a covered area by the pool. There is a BBQ for you to use, as well as a laundry room. The swimming pool has gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside, and as mentioned, a covered area so that you can shelter from the sun or soak up the rays. It is a big enough pool to do lengths in, with a shallow and deep end, and steps for access. You can ask for extra sunbeds - we left some lilos behind, so they may still be there. Otherwise, the Lidl in Serpa sells plenty of lilos and water hammocks. The property is located about a 20 minute drive from Serpa - you will definitely need a car to get to town. Paula lives very close by and is on hand when you need help with anything - she is lovely and really helpful. There are walks straight from the villa along the local roads - stunning sunsets and plenty of photo opportunities. We loved this property and already have plans to return.
