Villa La Carraia is located just outside Porano, at a distance of 10 minutes by car from Orvieto. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden of 2000 square meters with a private swimming pool (4.5 x 9.5 metres), table tennis and barbecue oven. From the garden you can enjoy panoramic views of the Apennine mountains and lake Corbara. The house is 130 square meters, very comfortable and fitted with all conveniences.
La Carraia is still active as a farm, producing excellent olive oil and wine which guests are able to purchase. Guests will receive a welcome glass of fine home produced wine in La Carraia's cellar.

Summary: La Carraia is a lovely and well presented villa with all the amenities you need for a perfect week. The villa is very spacious and the grounds and shady trees are great for relaxing and enjoying the fantastic views over the valley and towards Orvieto. The swimming pool is delightful and we spent many hours in or around it. There are lots of interesting villages to explore nearby - including Orvieto which is lovely - and the scenery is magnificent. Luigi was very helpful and hospitable and looked after us really well. We had a really great holiday and one day I hope we can return. Thank-you Luigi for all your help.

Summary: We had a fantastic week at La Carraia - we didn't want to leave! Luigi was very friendly and welcoming. The cake, wine and olive oil left for us were delicious! The villa was really homely and comfortable, with everything that we needed. The fridge by the pool was particularly useful! The garden, pool and views made it a holiday to remember. Summary: Great venue for a holiday. The view and scenery were amazing and the outside space was fabulous (house was welcoming and we enjoyed staying there). Luigi (owner) was incredibly welcoming and helpful - sorting out requests immediately and replacing a broken dishwasher within an afternoon (unbelievable service!!). Thank you for a great holiday and for looking after us. We loved the area and location and the house suited us down to the ground - everything we required. We had a great holiday. Thank you.

Summary: We had a very pleasent stay in La Carraia. A warm welcome by the owner and his wife. They gave us usefull information about the area, places to go etc. La Carraia is a beautiful place to stay. For people who want to relax in a beautiful surrounding it is absolutely recommendable. Orvieto is easily to reach in a very short time and is a lovely town to visit. We also visited Rome, we departed from the station of Orvieto and travelled by train. The house 'La Carraia' is a lovely place to stay, it has a beautiful garden with many places to read, to relax and it has a beautiful swimmingpool. We recommend La Carraia for people/families who appreciate and value a typical Umbrian surrounding ! We want to thank (again) the owner and his wife for their lovely "La Carraia".

Summary: "The house was very nice, in a very beautiful surrounding. Everyhting was very clean and neat. The environment is quite, very good to enjoy some rest. In the neighbourheood many lovely little towns are worthwile visiting.
