Summary: This is a beautiful old house with plenty of space for a large family to eat together. The views are wonderful with deer and rabbits walking below the house. It is in a part of France with much to offer in terms of activities like cycling, canoeing, eating and just admiring the beautiful villages. The swimming pool is a short walk from the house with plenty of sun loungers, table tennis, table football and badminton to play. Bed linen and towels need to be hired or bring your own and there is a large deposit to be paid in cash (seems standard in France but good to know in advance).

Summary: We visited prats du perigord with family and all stayed in the same villa. It was very spacious however a little dated with the decor. The terraces and views were beautiful and a great base to explore the surrounding region. A car is necessary and the nearest place for shopping/food/restaurants is 6-8 miles away. We had a nice holiday and enjoyed the shared pool area. You need to be aware the house is on an incline for those who have difficulty walking to get to and from the pool area. The only real negative was the beds - whilst big enough we all found a little uncomfortable for sleeping. The property managers were both very friendly and easily contacted to greet us on arrival.
