3 Bedroom Apartment in Pieve Ligure

You will have the feeling of being on a boat with a splendid view of the sea
Small but well appointed house for 4 to 5 people (max 4 adults), with independent access to the second floor of a beautiful historic town of the late 1800 well restored. We have just renewed the now beautiful façade and the terrace.
The accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms: 1 double and one with two single beds, both facing north, fresh and quiet. The 3rd bedroom is generally used as an office with a convertible sofa bed. We have a cot and a baby-chair.
The terrace is splendid, where you can also have lunch in winter in good weather, thanks to the southern exposure and the mountains behind the house. The terrace becomes the real living room and dining room, from spring to autumn even in the evening.
Private parking available for one car.
The nearest access to the sea, visible in the photo, is mainly rocky, but also equipped for children, with fresh water.
Bogliasco beach is less than 15 minutes' walk away and there are bathing establishments, boats and canoes for hire. Ditto in Sori, about 3 km to the east, easily accessible by bus or train.
Good rail connections to visit Genoa and the towns of the Riviera di Levante (from Camogli to Cinque Terre). Pontetto stations (very close, but few trains stop there), Pieve at 600 meters, Bogliasco at 1 km. Excellent bus service with stops very close to you.
Beautiful walks on the hills behind. Do not miss the Monte di Santa Croce (70 min from the house, 35 min from Pieve alta).

Summary: A fantastic holiday, with this charming apartment as the perfect base. The property is full of character, with a stunning view of the sea and a spacious outdoor terrace, again with that view of the sea. Really well connected, with trains into Genoa and nearby towns and also the Cinque Terre. And a good bus service. Beaches, restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Very helpful owners.

Summary: The flat has an astonishing view and it feels luxury to sit on the balcony and watch out on the very blue and sparkling Sea (as long as you are not disturbed by the sound of the road). Kitchen, Living Room and "Bureau" are very nicely furnished and Equipped. There is everything you could possibly need too cook etc. I like a lot that it is a real flat with real furniture not just the simplest modell from Ikea. What I was not happy about ist that the Sleeping Room with the "matrimonial" bed has no real window only a small hatch out onto a shaft. A Person with claustrophobia can not sleep in this room, nor in the second, so i would suggest, to put a Picture online from this room as well, because for me this was rather a shock.

Summary: If you are looking for authentic Italian accommodation with charm then this is the perfect apartment. We have just enjoyed a week here. We took breakfast on the terrace every morning followed by a swim in one of the two rocky coves just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. For a beach day a short walk takes you to the beautiful Bogliasco with its wonderful restaurants or you can take the train from Pieve to explore the Ligurian coast and Genova as we did. Many thanks to the owners for being so helpful and attentive. We are so missing that view from the terrace!

Summary: Sunsets were superb. I had no car but the apartment is very very close to 2 bus stops and about a 10 minute walk to the train. Wish I could go back in the summer as there are 2 awesome swimming spots. Great owners very accommodating. Only negative was limited internet access but it seems that may get better soon. I lived there for 3 mos so internet was more important than it would be for a vacationer.

Summary: The apartment has a lot of charm and feels like the family home that it is. It is perfectly situated giving easy access to trains and buses to visit the lovely area and Genoa. I swam throughout the month of October at a lovely cove with spectacular cliffs which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. It is one of the rare typical Ligurian homes I found that offered a terrace and the view is amazing, especially the spectacular sunsets, though the road in front can be noisy. The best thing about the apartment is the owners who are beyond kind and thoughtful in every way. I feel like I have made not only wonderful memories but also wonderful friends.

Summary: First, the geographical situation of Pieve – between the scenic Ligurian countryside and majestic Genoa – is a very good compromise for those who seek to explore both. Then, the apartment itself is indeed full of charm and authenticity, with a truly breath-taking view. It can be a bit noisy due to the adjacent road, but it’s fully tolerable. Every facility one would need is in a walking distance from the apartment – excellent restaurants and fine grocery shops, animated cafes, a beach. One of the best things about this rental, though, was its hospitable owners, very considerate and flexible people.

Summary: Our family of four enjoyed a two month stay in Pieve Ligure in September and October 2013. The apartment has lots of character and the view of the sea from the apartment and the terrace are gorgeous. I will never forget that view! The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen was very well equipped, only missing a microwave. The apartment is within walking distance of small and large grocery stores, restaurants, a rocky swimming hole, and nice beach in Bogliasco. You can take the train from Pieve and explore the rest of the amazing Ligurian coast. My children really enjoyed the toys and books provided and the large terrace space. We all loved the delicious Italian cuisine! The owners are friendly, generous, and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more.
