Designed and built in the early 1890s with the approval of Prime Minister William Gladstone, Housel Bay is a fine example of late Victorian architecture. The Cornish Coast Path runs through the hotel gardens and provides access east and west to many of the most stunning locations in the British mainland's most southerly county. The tidal beach can be reached from steps directly from the property. Every room has an private bathroom and a TV for guests to enjoy, and some also have a seating area. Positive: We have visited and enjoyed staying at this hotel several times before and this visit confirmed our reasons for returning. The staff are lovely ,very helpful and friendly, the food is excellent and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoy staying in their very comfortable rooms with a sea view as the surrounding scenery is so beautiful. We hope to return again next year.

Negative: Nothing as everything was as expected.

Summary: We are both in our seventies and we always look forward to having a relaxing time at this hotel

Positive: Loved the location. We had a beautiful walk along tge coast in the morning.

Negative: We were both really tall and had to curl up otherwise our feet hit the bed frame!
