Summary: The hotel exterior was well lit, front desk was friendly. The room at first glance is nice, but needs better maintenance. There are a significant amount of cobwebs above the window curtain. Cosmetics like patches of popcorn ceiling and no popcorn ceiling. Sharpe markings on the wall left to the bed as if it was a a spot that had work done. The wall next to the sink has an unpatched hole in the wall (best guess is a punch to the wall) followed by dry blook smeared on the door (small amount). Toilet flush chain is rusted and broken...had to fish for it. The shower head is rusty. Still not terrible for one night, the price and location.

Summary: THERE IS NOT A POOL! I had to stay here for budget reasons. In town for a wedding. PROS: The staff were friendly, easy to find, pillows and beds were comphy and seemed clean (I just wish they were queens), There has been attemps at upgrades in the room like paint, head boards, desks and vanity. Cons: These upgrades are like putting lipstick on a pig. They are painting walls with little prep, most walls wern't painted and it shows. The walls were dirty with lots of scuffs. The carpet is gross, the baseboards and corners are dirty, and in need of deep clean. Shower amenities are basic and they didn't even give us enough towels. Also most mettal isvrusted like clothing rack, shower rod and toilet paper holder. Online in several spaces it says there is a pool but it has been filled in with dirt and if there was a hot tub I didn't see one. The breakfast is super basic. Fruit, coffee, paasties, juice cups, and breakfast sandwiches you heat up. It was fine just known it's basic.

Summary: Kind of what we expected for a Howard Johnson — okay service, yucky rooms, bad breakfast. However, the beds were very comfortable, so overall okay if you just need a place to sleep.

Summary: All affordable hotels kinda suck now but considering the other fairly positive reviews I had higher expectations for this. The place was dirty with lots of damage. The water took ages to reach lukewarm in the shower and only came out with a garden-hose trickle. The carpet felt wet everywhere, like it had never really be cleaned. I got some additional towels and they just hung them on the outside of the door in a kroger bag instead of putting them in the room, never seen that before. My keycards got deactivated twice and I had to get the night deskperson to reactivate them. They never asked me for ID or proof I was even staying there. There was probably prostitution or drug dealing going on at this location. Lots of people outside of rooms late at night, moving between rooms, waiting in cars. A woman was tweaking in her car near my room. I didn't spend any time in the hotel besides sleeping during my trip, but if I was there with my partner or family I would have left and eaten the cost. Pros: The room smelled fine. The bed was comfortable and seemed clean. The door locked securely. The staff I interacted with were polite. Maybe I had too high expectations for a motel, but I certainly remember places like this, and Howard Johnsons being a little better...
