Summary: Not updated room like pictures...roaches in bathroom and not very clean..breakfast only had bread items, cereal or waffle. No hot items.. No juices nor ice water..only midiocre coffee..

Summary: There was no breakfast, no cereal, no waffles, no fruit, yogurt, nothing. 1 towel each, a king size bed with 3 small couch pillows.

Summary: Facility is dated. Bathroom was dark cracks on the ceiling and mismatched paint to cover repairs. Double queen room only had 2 pillows per bed and the pillows were horrible. Only two towels in a 4 person room. I was able to get more at the desk. HoJo’s used to be a staple of places to stay but this one does not live up to its legacy. Oh snacks, laundry items, missing toiletries are cash only.

Summary: I was very impressed with this hotel. First and foremost the room was very clean and everything was in proper working order. I love the mid-century decor, a real throwback to HoJo’s origins. Pool was clean, though maybe s little too warm for my taste. A pool should be refreshing, not like bath water. But with a small pool in the glaring Florida sun, the water temperature will naturally rise in the summer. I enjoyed the stay so much that I went back the following week. Oh, and the price was extremely reasonable in my opinion. I’ve stayed in a few pretty awful hotels over the years that cost considerably more than what I paid per night at this Howard Johnson’s.
