Positive: Our stay at Howard’s Hill was incredibly peaceful and relaxing — we truly felt switched off and refreshed. The location was perfect: quiet and away from the world, yet close enough to easily drive to so many places. We loved the animals on site (Esmerelda the pig was a highlight!), and the hosts were friendly and welcoming while still giving us complete privacy.

Negative: There wasn’t anything that stood out as a negative during our stay. The kitchen and accommodation were well equipped, and any small extras would simply be a bonus rather than a necessity.

Summary: A peaceful hidden gem that’s perfect for a quiet getaway.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous accommodation with a lot of charm and character. Very spacious, super comfortable and clean. Host was very accommodating and with our stay, was very friendly and helpful, ensured the fireplace was toasty upon arrival time!

Negative: Loved nearly everything about this place. Just minor things- The bathroom could have had a few robe hooks and for the hand towel. A few of the kitchen pans may need an update.

Summary: We had a wonderful relaxing time here and will definitely come back and recommend to all.
