This quaint little tent and private deck are nestled among the trees on the banks of the Esopus Creek in a great little neighborhood! A way to get back to nature without truly leaving it all behind. A one of a kind private waterfront escape with warm water and electric outlet!
Enjoy a safari style tent on your own private deck overlooking the water located in a private wooded property. Rinse off under the private a-frame shower with hot water and use the NEWLY installed Porta-Potty. This porta-potty is emptied weekly and sanitized before each guest. You won’t have to dig holes but you are camping after all!!
The Camping experience does come with everything that nature has to offer! Meaning…you are outdoors and the outdoors comes with bugs, mosquitoes, flies etc. We suggest you bring bug spray for your stay! You are also welcome to bring mosquito repellent coils to use during your stay! Citronella CANDLES are PROHIBITED!! Candles or tiki torches are not allowed as they are flammable and we don’t want anyone knocking them over on the wood deck!
Hungry...cook a meal on the propane grill. You are welcomed to bring aluminum trays to cook on. Charge your phones or laptops should you need to do a little work under the canopy of the trees! (Yes! There is an outlet for small devices!!!) Finally, relax under the stars on a queen sized bed in your screened in tent as the tree frogs lull you to sleep and the fireflies wow your senses with their magical glow! There is a freight train that travels across the creek from time to time. If you are sensitive to noise, this may not work for you.
Water access is now available! You will find a staircase down the bank of the creek so you can launch the kayaks provided or even fish off of them! There is a two and a half mile stretch of the Esopus Creek between two small waterfalls that is lovely to kayak on! Please note that going out on the creek is at your own risk! We also don't control the water levels as mother nature is in charge of that. We suggest you bring water shoes or old sneakers you don't mind getting wet or muddy.
Feel like exploring? Take a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood and be sure to enjoy the magnificent sunsets over the farm. We are located in a great little neighborhood so you never have to go trekking too far into nature and be totally secluded. Yet, you enjoy the half acre waterfront property all to yourself! Plenty of longer trails are easily accessible just a short drive away!
If something a little bit further from nature tickles your fancy, jump in your car for a quick ride to Uptown Kingston or Saugerties where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants and shops to visit during your stay. Either way, you're sure to enjoy!
End your day with a nice fire under the stars! You have two comfy Adirondack chairs and an enclosed fire pit for your use!! Be sure to bring enough wood as you’ll want to linger around the fire just a little while longer!!
During the cooler months, enjoy a small heater that will warm up the tent to a toasty temperature perfect for sleeping! Sweet dreams are sure to follow!

Summary: This cute spot had everything you'd possibly need! My husband and I loved waking up to an incredible view of the creek and the sounds of nature, no better way to start the day! The creek is large and we highly recommend using the kayaks provided by the hosts. Outdoor shower was very energizing before of after a long day of exploring the area. Hosts were very communicative and we will definitely return many times.

Summary: The property was well maintained and the host was responsive and timely. I arrived after dark and the directions were clear and easy to follow. When I told the host I would be arriving late they turned on the heater so the tent would be warm upon my arrival. The host includes so many great items from a cooler, tables and chairs on the deck, hammock, floats for the river, umbrellas, fire starters, etc. One thing to know is that a train track is on the other side of the river and the train goes by early in the morning. It did not wake me up, but if you are a light sleeper it might be an issue. I would definitely rent this tent again!

Summary: We had a great time at Hudson Cove! It was the perfect marriage of a nature getaway with adorable small town exploring. We enjoyed the provided kayaks daily, had morning stretch sessions on the beautiful deck, spent a touristy afternoon in Woodstock, and got to snuggle up with our pup at the end of the night surrounded by the sounds of the great outdoors. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of life.

Summary: Property was cute and private, however the severe infestation of biting flies was unbearable. Our whole body was bitten up and the extreme itch and pain made the whole weekend unpleasant. I wish it was communicated to us that this was an issue. Bring bug spray by the gallon.

Summary: After the craziness of this past year, we need a place to recharge and be together. This was the perfect spot. The site itself was magical, especially at night with the floating lanterns. There was a crazy thunderstorm while we were there, but we were safe and dry I n the cozy bed of our tent. We enjoyed the tubes and kayaks. The creek was calm and peaceful. William and Alexandra were wonderful hosts. We used their recommendations to go hiking and dinner.
