Positive: Excellent location, right on the river and a short stroll into town. Easy communication with host and keybox/ code convenient. Parking close by and secure, but expensive at £27 euros a day. Apartment was very clean and all appliances were in good working order. Great shower. Great Spar shop less than 100 metres away.

Negative: Very steep stairs to 3rd floor. Did not affect us unduly as only 2 people and did not need to use. However do not think they would meet building regs in the UK. I certainly wouldn't want to carry luggage up and down. Kitchen could use some basics such as a chopping/ bread board and serated bread knife. Also instructions to use appliances would be helpful.

Negative: A really steep and dangerous staircase to the 2nd floor, that means the 2nd room. The apartment is in fact suitable for just two people.

Positive: I received a code for the key locker. so, it was super easy to enter the house. The house was clean, the bedrooms were good, the house has its private small yard which was nice,

Negative: there was a strong damp smell probably coming from the basement and we kept window open to survive the smell. The smell was very strong on the first floor, but it was also coming to the bedrooms especially the 3rd floor bedroom which has no doors (just stairs). When rains stopped the smell became milder, but still could not close the window. We wrote about to the host, but there was no answer. Actually, host did not respond to any of our question or request

Summary: the house has a good location, but because of the damp smell, I wouldn't go there again

Positive: The host was excellent. He responded quickly to any questions and was helpful with suggestions. The location was fantastic. The pictures are exactly like the unit. Great water pressure on the shower. It's not the fanciest of places but for the price I was impressed.

Negative: There is a smell when you first enter the unit. We noticed it on and off over the week. It was never too strong or lingered too long that it became uncomfortable. They are doing construction nearby and that may be the cause. Yes the stairs to the 3rd floor are steep but just move slowly.

Positive: The location was excellent and easy entry into the property

Negative: Instructions for turning on the airconditioner would have been helpful and the shower floor is extremely slippery when wet. Nothing that the owners can do, but the stairs will be difficult for some guests due to the steepness of the top floor stairs.

Positive: Great location, it's just across the river from the popular Vismarkt. Very modern facilities. Lots of space. It's a decently sized apartment.

Negative: To reach the top floor bedroom you need to climb an almost vertical flight of stairs. To climb up safely I had be on all four. It was impossible to carry my suitcase to the room so I could only bring the essentials separately. Also, for an apartment of this size I'd hope there's a washing machine as there are no laundromat nearby.
