Your key fob will also grant you access to the Sky Decks on top of the Promenade, Surf, and Sand Buildings on the SW side of the Lagoon. Enjoy the rooftop hot tub, lounge chairs, and community views from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Please note, the Sand Building does not have a rooftop hot tub, but you are welcome to enjoy the hot tubs on top of the Surf or Promenade Buildings.
At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. Rooftop yoga classes, kid’s crafts and activities, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies—where you can watch a fun movie on the big screen from the pool or lagoon—are just some of the fun events you can experience when you stay at the Desert Color community!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay! Our family—ranging from young kids to teens—absolutely loved it. The pickleball courts and pools were a huge hit with everyone. Loved the amenities and vibe. The property itself was beautiful, clean, quiet, and had a great local feel. There were plenty of delicious food options just a short drive away, which made meals super easy. We had such a great experience and are already looking forward to coming back!

Summary: Loved the amenities - pickleball courts, swimming pool & the lagoon/beach were awesome! We also brought bikes & used the bike bath & did a bit of mountain biking where the development is expanding & didn’t have paths. Everything was walkable. We also loved the hot tub, grills and eating area on the roof of the condo bldg! The condo itself - love the hummingbird theme & decorations. The kitchen had everything we wanted to use for the meals we prepped & ate there. Food trucks were on property around the clubhouse (I think that’s typical?), but also as it was during parade of homes. The only drawback to our weekend was the parking & traffic was crazy with the parade of homes & holiday wknd. People were parking everywhere (a few cars parked across sidewalks, and on both sides of the streets making it a one-lane driving in and out). The HOA should have been on top of the traffic control for such a busy weekend, and had parade of homes guests parking outside the community and walking in. We parked in the overflow parking one evening, because our vehicle with bike rack didn’t fit in the assigned condo parking spot (under a covered parking area) & all the parking spots were taken by parade of homes visitors. We got a notice on our car the next morning that we had parked in the wrong area, when really we parked where we could. That was the one glitch to our visit. We’d love to stay @ the condo & community again - but not on that weekend (unless parking/traffic is addressed).
