Enjoy our cozy cabin in the Umatilla National Forest with all the comforts of home and a chance to UNPLUG. It is a covered manufacured home that has recently been updated (New Floor coverings, bathroom, large covered deck and most recently new electric furnace)and clean as a whistle. The back bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a twin bed. The bunk house across the breezway has another double bed and a futon if needed. Heat with furnace or with a wood stove, including the wood and all the makings. Cooling is provided by the great outdoors which always cools and refreshes everything overnight. Big front deck and smaller deck out back with a fire pit.
No WIFI or cell service at this location. Nearest services are in Sumpter 15 miles away.

Summary: Another relaxing stay at Toni and Milo's place in Granite. Star gazing, wildlife, evening campfires and gorgeous weather this year. A very peaceful setting for just hanging out. No cell phone interruptions, although you can drive 5 miles up the road for service if needed. Was perfect for the 4 of us ladies. We plan on coming back next year for stay #3!

Summary: Milo and Toni are superb hosts. Their property is clean and quiet and NO PHONE SERVICE and NO INTERNET!! PTL!! We wanted secluded and thats what we got!. Granite is the cutest little old mining town and Sumpter is a blast. We'll be booking again..

Summary: Peaceful. Comfortable. Clean. Friendly and helpful owners. Quiet. Elk bugling close by! Turkeys in the yard. Blue Jays. Covered deck makes for more usable space during inclement weather with gas fire pit👏 Wood stove in house and bunk-house with an abundance of nicely chopped firewood and kindling. Oil heat in house and electric heater in bunkhouse for quick warmup. Walk out back door and go for a hike. Lots of places to explore within a few miles. We would definitely return!

Summary: We loved this place. It was just what we were looking for...peaceful and relaxing. It's not fancy and neither are we so another plus. I have to say they asked that we leave the place as clean as we found it and that was difficult...it was so clean. The property is well kept. Really nice deck to relax on with huge BBQ. A comfortable patio out back with shade umbrella. The wood stove was great for crisp mornings and plenty of wood. We would definitely stay again, and many thanks you for letting us!

Summary: The house was very nice and comfortable, loved the space and lack of connectivity. Great place to hike and have experiences. The house is very well suited for visitors , there are plenty of house hold goods (cleaning supplies, towels &linens, dishes also blankets ) the owner was prompt in response and check in was a breeze!

Summary: The local roads have very little traffic, making for perfect biking. We also enjoyed visiting the Fremont powerhouse, Anthony Lakes, the Sumpter gold dredge, and local hikes. The well equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, gas firepit, spacious deck, and shaded breezeway added to a delightful experience.
