Summary: Very overpriced hotel. Only one Elevator working. Sometimes you had to wait over 5 mins for it.

Summary: I was surprised at my below average stay in Times Square at the Hyatt. Upon check in the employee was clearly disgruntled and overworked. He complained to me and my family before asking us to wait almost 30 min to check due to housekeeping being behind. One of two elevators was out of service which caused us to experience considerable wait times to get to and from our room. The final straw was a 45 minute wait time for additional wash clothes because there were only two in the room (max capacity was 4 adults). Overall I am disappointed this was our experience. I brought my young cousin with me to celebrate her graduation and birthday for the first time in NYC. I will need to do considerable research before I ever stay at this location in the future.

Summary: Super great location. They let us leave our bags there all day too. Plus they have an amazing roof top you have to check out. The only things we didn’t love was just one elevator worked and they charge a $28 resort fee even if you don’t use any of the amenities. But overall great place to stay.

Summary: One elevator working for the entire hotel, with no access to any stairs from the lobby. We ended up having to carry luggage down from the 5th floor to outside and then walk into the lobby to check out. The AC in the room didn’t work, so we were miserably hot and didn’t sleep. I did call the front desk and they sent someone to look at it while we were gone, but it didn’t seem to fix anything. Rooftop is cool, but bar wasn’t open so we couldn’t take advantage. Bed was very old feeling, like you could feel the springs poking you. I definitely do not thing this place lives up to what I expect from a Hyatt, and think we absolutely overpaid. The area is convenient to things, but overall kind of dingy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would absolutely never stay there again.

Summary: The service and the hotel itself was . The room however was very cramped. This area of New York is under a great deal of construction and not very enjoyable to walk around in.

Summary: The room we stayed in was labeled as deluxe. It was a very nice standard room with a terrible view. Not deluxe. Staff was courteous and helpful. One of the two elevators was not operating causing long wait time for each ride up or down. The property is otherwise well maintained and clean. It is very nicely located near herald square and koreatown.
