Summary: Have stayed here numerous times and return because it is generally very good and we enjoy relaxing by the pool. However this time the pool and pool area were shut - had we known we would have booked somewhere else. We we offered the use of the pool at the hotel across the road for $50 US each per day (2 of us therefore $100 US per day total) and told we would need to arrange our own taxis as it was dangerous to cross the road. We were given a late checkout free of charge to compensate, but our keys stopped working and we had to let in by cleaning staff who hadn’t been told and wanted to get in to clean our room. Overall, we found the situation totally unacceptable and feel completely let down.

Summary: Hotel is looking a bit more tired compared to previous times I've stayed. Hotel staff gives me mixed feelings as most staff members are friendly and welcoming... however, others not so much... Also, I was told parking could not be validated in the past so not sure if something changed or I was lied to previously, but the valet guys made me aware that was not the case on the last day of my stay (shoutout to them). In general I would still recommend and most likely stay here in the future, but for the price there needs to be visible improvements... Lastly, putting multiple holds on my credit card even after the initial hold at check-in is very strange and if you are going to do it let the guest know beforehand so they don't think someone stole their CC. Never had that happen to me anywhere else...
