Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Ziva. Spacious room with all the added amenities and comfort -mini fridge with ample selection, robe, slippers, eco dental kits, shower caps, etc. The food options were great, the food was tasty and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. It’s a large property and even though I don’t mind walking the distance, it was challenging for a family member to get from the lobby to Building 3, and to the various restaurants. Also, our room had a musty odor but we spent most of our time outdoors so this was not really an issue until we returned. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and will return.

Summary: It was fun until the last day. I found out that if booked directly through the hotel I could saved several hundred dollars. I would recommend this property for families. It was comfortable, clean, fun and provided entertainment for everyone.

Summary: I recently stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall and, honestly, expected much more for what’s considered a higher-end all-inclusive resort. We didn’t have hot water for most of our stay. The room was very dated and looked better in the pictures. While the ocean views and scenery were absolutely beautiful, the overall experience was disappointing. Some of the staff were kind and helpful, but others were surprisingly rude, which definitely impacted the vibe of the trip. The food wasn’t very good, and the buffet had flies around the food. The drinks were a major letdown. Everything was extremely watered down, to the point that even after taking several shots, we felt absolutely nothing. For a resort with premium pricing, you expect quality food and beverages, and this just didn’t deliver. I recommend skipping the all-inclusive option altogether and staying somewhere you can pay for quality meals and drinks as you go. You’ll likely get better value and a much better overall experience. The views are the highlight here—but unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to justify the cost.

Summary: Our second time at the property, this trip exceeded expectations, our butler service was really helpful especially with kids. Seems the property made some meaningful upgrades since our last stay as well—good food, great entertainment, friendly and helpful staff. Overall, we had a great time!
