Positive: Hïsom is an exceptional example of a business making positive change in a rural area. The hosts were wonderfully helpful and friendly, and the house was spacious and stunningly decorated, with a sophisticated traditional Japanese feel and all of the comforts of modernity. I was amazed by the attention to detail in the house, as everything was incredibly beautiful and comfortable (the staff even put fresh flowers in all of the rooms). After a short walk to Yunotsu, the UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site-village, we were pleasantly surprised to find many cute cafes and delicious local restaurants there. With the beach so close to the property, the location couldn't be any better (I wouldn't recommend trying to walk all the way there from the station though, and instead take a taxi).

Positive: The House is great...clean, well equitments/facilities. We have a great time there.

Negative: Very difficult to drive to the house at night..very very small road and no light. Thus, you should bring all foods with you and stay there!

Positive: Everything about the villa is exceptional. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast bento was an unexpected joy each morning. This is an exceptional property.

Negative: Nothing. This property exceeded expectations. Some might not like it being a bit of a walk from town. If you’re ok with that, then you will enjoy the villa.
