Summary: Very bad location just above the Mc Donald. Noisy very late at night and moreover it was impossible to close the window. It is like all the nightlife of Winterthur takes place next to a hamburger. The standart of the room is the one of a low level Ibis budget (something between an hospital room and a prison cell + you feel it becomes old)The person at the reception was really nice. Anyway, i could think to come back here (only for the price, not for the pleasure, let's not exaggerate), but only when this fast food downstairs will have disappeared 😊

Summary: I don't know why Expedia gave me this hotel as an option in Zurich area as it takes about 25 min to get there from Zurich by train and 10 min by bus, which costs about €60 for 3 people. The area around the hotel is really nice and quiet, but the best thing is staff at the hotel. Two very nice young ladies answered questions about my trip in details, and also made some accomodations for me because the first room didn't work for us. There's always somebody at the front desk, and they are so kind and helpful. The nearest supermarket is a 10 min walk, and the train station is 15. Not many good options for restaurants unless you go towards the train station.
