Positive: This hotel locates very close to the Old Town of Edinburgh and the Edinburgh Train Station. We could have walked from the train station to this hotel if I were familiar with the route. The room was quite big even with one additional bed, we can easily handle our two 28-inch suitcases at the same time. The balcony was definitely a plus for the room. This room was also very quiet, I could hear no more than birds singing in the morning. There are quite some good restaurants within 5 minutes walk, and there are a few big shopping malls around. It's indeed a good place to stay in Edinburgh.
Negative: The hot water in the bathroom could be stronger.

Positive: Location was great! We took a bus from Inverness and were dropped off a block away! The interior design was fresh and fun. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom was quite pretty!
Negative: The room was tight. It would be nice to have 2 chairs-one for each guest. The flow of traffic in the breakfast/bar area was problematic- it felt very congested even if we went early before it got crowded.
Summary: We would consider staying here again-you can't beat the location!

Negative: Bedroom EXTREMELY small. Shower capacity was suit a slim teenager!! Although the shower appliances were terrific.
