Summary: We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in a very comfortable and well equipped house. Michele and Claude made us very welcome and were very informative about the area and the local wine. After visiting visiting the beautiful local area and very good wineries it was always good to come back to our accommodation and relax with a glass of wine! Thank you Michele and Claude and we hope to return soon.

Summary: We had a lovely 3 night stay in Fontaines. Michele and Claude are very welcoming and informative. The property was lovely, very clean and had air conditioning, which was much appreciated. The garden was lovely to sit out in, with sunny and shady spots. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We could not have asked for nicer location! I loved being able to walk into town for croissants in the morning. The gardens are lovely with seating areas to enjoy a glass of wine and relax after a day of exploration. Our hosts, Claude and Michele, are generous, kind and compassionate. Michele called a medical service for advice when my husband was ill and even supplied us with food he was able to eat. The apartment is cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for our visit. I hope to stay here again!

Summary: Property was as described in the online description. The only surprise was the lack of an oven but we soon adapted to the use of one pan and the microwave. Unfortunately the air conditioning failed during the hot four days in the middle of our stay but we coped. Loved the area and the surrounding towns.

Summary: This was a perfect location to explore the Burgundy region of France. We did a day trip to Beaune and their are many Domaines nearby to try the local wines. You can walk into the bakery in town or sit in the garden. Having air-conditioning was wonderful for our July visit. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful; they even made a dinner reservation for us when my poor French was not understood! If you are looking for a homey, comfortable, a little off-the-beaten path location, you will love it here.

Summary: This was a lovely place and Michelle and Claude were very hospitable. The place was a nice size for 2 people, with all the amenities. It was cosy and we were able to cook dinner. It is quite close to the local town and was near a canal, which was great for a bike ride. The only issue was that it was on a main road, so a little noisy with the traffic, and there was an issue with a leaky shower.

Summary: We have spent the first week of our honeymoon in France at Claude and Michelles gite next to their house. It is well appointed and has all the things you need for a relaxing holiday . The kitchen looks small when you first see it but the microwave , dishwasher and versatile small cooker are all that 2 people need. The garden at the back is huge . Plenty of open and shaded areas under the trees . We were given figs from the garden, home made damson jam and a bottle of cremant on arrival. The covered area outside the front door is great for eating out and much wine drinking . . We were taken so much by the electric barbecue that we have bought one to take home with us . Didn't travel far except for one day visit to Nyon and Geneva in Switzerland to see Lac Leman again and the two houses my daughter has previously lived in. The abbaye at Cluny not far away is worth a visit and the Sunday market at Chagny is a must. All in all a very good place for a week in Burgundy. Merci beaucoup Michelle et Claude maintenant le grandpere et la grandmere. A bientot!
