Summary: Cute cottage on the Susquehanna river. Clean, comfortable with river themed decor. Ample parking and large grassy area for our dog. Comfortable beds. Would stay here again.

Summary: Family and I loved our stay as we were greeted by the beautiful decor that reminded you that you were on a lake. The covered front porch was the best place for watching the sunrise, eating breakfast and games. The rooms were amazing and thanks to everything being on one floor it made it easy to keep track of my little ones. Besides being indoors you can stretch the space by making use of the garage and yard space for fun activities like cornhole, water gun fights, and grilling. And lastly you cant beat how close you are to many local attractions of Lancaster and York. My last recommendation is to get a PA Boating License so you can rent a boat up the road and get on the water.

Summary: Stayed here for a weekend away soccer event. House was great. Very clean. Loved the enclosed front porch. Very relaxing sitting out there and watching the River. Would recommend and would stay again.

Summary: We were surprised by the area around the house. The neighboring town was so quant. The mountain roads were a blast to drive on. We ate at John Wright Restaurant. Spent most of our time in Lancaster for a family event and saw great parks and scenery around the downtown area. We ran out of time to rent kayaks at Shank's Mare but the shop staff was great. We enjoyed the cottage. We enjoyed the front porch and our dogs loved the back yard. The laundry facilities were an added plus because we don't have to do laundry when we get home now. Less stress on mom. We loved the history of the area googled quite a lot of things as we drive thru the area for 6 days.

Summary: Had to come to York, PA for a work project. This place was home during our stay. Communication was great, place was clean and owners are very friendly. We used the grill daily and enjoyed sitting on those adirondack chairs every night. Thank you for a great stay!

Summary: My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time there. We wished to stay longer lol but we had to go back home to our lives. It was a great place to decompress and isolate ourselves from the world for a couple days. Will definitely be back but maybe with friends

Summary: I went to the cottage to get away from everything and refocus. I needed peace and tranquility in my environment. This cottage with lake views from the screened in porch gave me just that.
