Positive: A well-designed boutique hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and individual spa places to rest after a long trip. Smart renovation of an old youth hostel.
Negative: Its location is close to Gyeongju's main attraction Bulguksa and Sukgulam but far away from other hot places in Gyeongju. And this hotel is located in a deserted area filled with abandoned youth hostels, which were used to accommodate Korean kids for school trips a long time ago. The whole area is spooky because most of the hotels and shops surrounding this hotel are closed and abandoned. I would not choose this hotel due to its location. And even though it is a well-renovated hotel, its management and cleaning staff seem to have nearly neglected this place. Stains were everywhere on the carpet, the net window was broken in my room, and the room toilet was stinky.
Summary: Attractive facilities but not worth to stay due to its bad location and poor maintenance

Positive: The property is absolutely stunning—its architecture and design are truly exceptional. Although it’s located outside the city center, it’s easily accessible by taxi or bus and is close to Bulguksa Temple, which made the location unique and culturally rich. The staff was very helpful and attentive and tried their best to assist us, even with limited English.
Negative: Communication was sometimes a challenge due to the language barrier, and there was often no one at reception, which made it difficult to reach staff when needed. The food, while good, was repetitive—identical meals all three nights. The rooms, although conceptually beautiful and spacious, are in need of renovation: the floors need replacing, the walls new painting. We also had a miscommunication about the bath room assigned to our room, which was uncomfortable.
Summary: A visually stunning and culturally interesting stay with warm staff, but let down by poor communication, repetitive food
