Positive: Beautiful views. Lovely location.
Negative: Lack of mirrors. The one in the bathroom is so high you can see in it. Terrible frying pans. We had no idea if you can drink the water. Fire pit a hazard. The ground needs to be fixed. We were worried about people tripping in the dark. Terrible lighting down there. Living room furniture uncomfortable.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay they just need to make a couple changes.

Negative: Not right on the lake but very quick walk down to the lake. Driveway was a little hard to get out of.

Positive: Location was good. The partial lake view is beautiful. There was specific mention of a trail and stairs to climb down to the dock. The stairs were however removed and the trail closed due to co construction and renovation of the stairs.
Negative: The dishes and cutlery were not clean. The stove top was greasy. The bbq was greasy and flared up

Positive: The house itself is beautiful and the interior pictures are accurate. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots and pans. The private dock is great. I would stay again, but it’s not worth the exorbitant price per night.
Negative: Dealing with Vacasa is a nightmare. I LOVE Booking.com but I would never book a rental through them that relied on Vacasa again. They. Are. Awful. This was the worst customer service experience I’ve had with Booking.com in 5 years. The pictures make it look like the dock is near the property but it’s probably a 5-10 minute walk that wouldn’t be appropriate for someone older or with mobility issues as it’s down stairs, then a steep, rocky slope, then more stairs. The knives are dull, the toilet paper is cheap, the landscaping has been let go in the back yard around the fireplace and picnic table so the view from the lower bedroom is one of clutter. The facility could also offer fans for guests as it would help with sleeping in the heat. For the price of this property things could certainly be done better to increase the value.
Summary: Meh - Vacasa doesn’t maximize this home’s value
