‘“IL Mare” is a private 4 bedroom two story beach house recently refurbished to create a sense of style relaxed living and tranquility.
Downstairs consists of two very large bedroom suites. A King and a Queen which enjoy ocean views and have their own bathroom/ ensuite. Each bedroom has a sitting/reading area . (The King suite has a TV best suited for use with a HDMI cable to your device. the Queen suite has a TV with free to air chanels )
Up stairs consist of two further bedrooms . One with bunk bed and the other a trilogy bunk bed (single and double).
The living area features a large scale lounge room with comfortable lounges, a smart TV, wood heating, separate dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave oven. Decking runs along the width of the home front and back , ideal outdoor spaces where you can enjoy sipping a glass of champagne or alfresco dining.

" Il Mare " can be enjoyed as a romantic getaway for couples that want to enjoy space and privacy but it is also ideal to accommodate two small families ,
The home is a short stroll to the beach (120 meters to G.O.R.) and a glorious 5 minute drive to Apollo Bay along one of Australia's premiere beaches.

Il Mare is only a very short walk beautiful Skenes Creek Beach. Enjoy watching surfers catch a wave from the extensive decking or walk down a grassy path to the beach , Skenes Creek Estuary and Stream.
The home is elevated enjoying lovely sea breezes in summer or light the slow combustion heater and watch the storms roll in in Winter.
Il Mare is a short drive to Apollo Bay or a pleasant 35 minute invigorating walk along the beach to the town center,
Enjoy a wonderful "Australian" beach holiday within sight of town in a relaxed and uncrowded environment.
A maximum of 9 guests are allowed on the property. A maximum of 3 cars are allowed on the property. Furniture is not to be moved. The house is to be left in a clean and tidy state upon departure. All dishes and utensils are to left clean and put away in draws and cupboards. Any breakages are to be reported to the owner.

Summary: Loved our second visit to this property. The views and sounds of the Ocean are lovely and a very short walk away if you want to swim. The upstairs living area is huge with plenty of room to cook, eat and relax. Having three bathrooms makes it easy for everyone to clean up ready for the next day's adventure.

Summary: The accommodation was wonderful and relaxing and a great place to unwind. Short stroll to the beach and just a 5 min drive to Apollo Bay for any shopping needs. The place had everything we needed for our stay.

Summary: Amazing views and lovely house. Fireplace and multiple heaters so the whole house was warm even though it was very cold outside. Beds were comfortable, showers had good water pressure and kitchen had a good range of cooking equipment. The host provided good info about the house and some tips for things to do in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Views are heavenly, the accommodation is perfect in everyway. The house itself is on a quiet street and so your only noise is the ocean. Lovely way to fall asleep. 5 minute drive to Apollo Bay but with the balcony and full equipped kitchen you only needed supplies before you could hide away at this house. Max the host was very quick with responses and helpful on any questions asked. Would fully recommend this accommodation.

Summary: A really beautiful place, very bright and light with uninterrupted ocean views. The surf is so close you can hear the boom of the waves from inside the house. Very modern and spacious and a great base for fly fishing and surfing. 
