Summary: Barbara was very welcoming. The semi detached villa was comfortable. The pool was warm (open between 9-2000) and a great place to watch the sunset. The house is old (built circa 1700), and our section was built into a rock, so the kitchen had a smell of damp.

Summary: Comfortable and nicely furnished apartment on the ground and first floor in the old villa. All areas are air-conditioned and both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The villa is beautifully situated on a hill, the view from the terrace around the pool is beautiful. A covered parking space has been reserved for your car. The villa is centrally located to all highways, supermarkets are only a 5-minute drive from the villa. We had a wonderful time.

Summary: This place is simply wonderful. The villa is situated in a small village surrounded by wineyards, very close to Verona city, and to Venice. It is very close to Valpolicella and Soave wine producers. The owners Barbara and Carlo are very nice people. The house is bjg and in a very good order. I give it my highest recommendations.

Summary: We stayed in this accommodation for three nights, and overall, I would say we were pretty pleased with it. We chatted on a couple of occasions with the brother and sister team who own this property, and they were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very roomy - four bedrooms and four bathrooms! - plenty of space for four adults and four children (there were beds for seven people, and the owners put up a baby cot for the littlest in our party). One downside was that the bedrooms were pretty dark (as "Lo Chalet" is partially built into the hillside),but as we were out during the day (and dark bedrooms at nighttime is no bad thing) I didn't see this as a major drawback. Although beware that there aren't curtains or shutters on all windows, so you may wake with the sun.Everything was nice and clean, and pretty well-appointed (although there was very little soap or toilet paper - a matter we brought to the owners' attention and they said they would rectify for future guests). The kitchen was very well appointed with pots and pans and plates etc. The swimming pool was located on a small rise with a view over the village and out to the mountains - although it was the first day the pool had water in for the season, the children had a couple of dips. It was really too cold in April, despite lovely sunny weather, but during summer it would be ideal to while away the hours under a sun umbrella and looking out on the Italian countryside. The location - about half an hour away from Verona and an hour away from Venice - was pretty perfect. There didn't seem to be much happening in the village itself (in terms of quaint little bakeries or trinkety shops) but there were a number of restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets in easy reach (by car). The plus side of being in a sleepy village was that it was nice and quiet with little noise but for the chiming of church bells! If you are looking for pure luxury and indulgence, this may not be it, but for a very comfortable stay in a good location, at a reasonable price, this accommodation fits the bill. Don't forget to reckon with the cleaning and gas/electricity charges though (we paid about €200 cleaning for eight people and about €50 gas/electricity for three nights during pretty warm weather in April - I guess winter stays would use considerably more gas for heating than we did). This was then €650 for three nights which although not cheap, was pretty acceptable for the number of people staying.
