Summary: Fabrizio's place is just gorgeous. When we arrived, he gave us a detailed tour of the gardens and house, both of which are beautiful and have all conveniences. We enjoyed walking to the small and lovely town of Farnatella, and driving a few minutes to the gorgeous Lucignano. While he and his wife do live in the downstairs of the house, they have a separate entrance and were respectful of our privacy while we were there. I hope to return for a longer stay!

Summary: Located in a peaceful location, the house is charming and homey. The hosts are very kind and accommodating, and we had a wonderful stay. The view from the bedroom balcony is spectacular.

Summary: We received a warm welcome from the family and a thorough explanation of the facilities, the surrounding area and places of interest. Fabrizio communicated easily with us using the translation phone app. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and offers a genuine Italian experience. Simply wonderful.

Summary: This Tuscany gem was perfect, every aspect. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony patio was absolutely breath taking. I would recommend this location to anyone hoping to be fully immersed in a Tuscan experience!

Summary: We had a very nice stay at the Poggio d‘Eremita. Fabrizio is a very nice host who made the stay unforgetable. Everything was fine, the place is stunning. We also got recommendations for visiting around Farnetella. A visit which I definitely can recommend to everyone.

Summary: Poggio dell'Eremita was the last stop of our month in Tuscany and it was absolutely the most relaxing. Nestled amongst olive trees, the villa was super clean and so lovely. Comfortable seating, comfortable bed, beautiful decor, and multiple places outside to sit, read, and eat. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking, including bottles of wine available to purchase, and we also ate out at a great nearby restaurant Scroccazucche, recommended by our wonderful hosts Fabrizio and Nicola. We enjoyed a great tour of the gardens surrounding the house and got introduced to (rooster) Trump and his chickens, who were very quiet and polite and gave us 3 fresh eggs. We loved eating breakfast at the patio table outside the kitchen and relaxing in the afternoon on the covered back porch. The stairs to the bedroom areas are narrow and steep, but have good handrails and lighting. Upstairs there are screened windows that allow the breeze and an AC when it's too warm. Outside the bedroom is a rooftop deck with an amazing view across the valley and surrounding hills. Drive a little past where google directs, go around the next corner and look for the "Eremita" sign on the left where you can park your car...you won't regret a stay at this sweet villa! Fabrizio and Nicola are delightful hosts!

Summary: Right from the moment we arrived, Fabrizio was the most gracious, warm and welcoming host. We were tempted to record his uniquely charming welcome! The villa is even better than the photos! Fabrizio doesn’t speak English but communicates in all languages easily with a translation app., and his son is available and very responsive if you want someone to communicate with in English. Fabrizio provided an excellent selection of local wines on site at extremely reasonable prices. Every one we tried was great. Great restaurant with the best pizza in Italy 5 min drive away. Hard to mention all of the pluses: a different terrace for every time of the day, including a jaw dropping view from the BR terrace, patio with grill & fresh herbs to pick, absolutely beautiful gardens full of olive trees, jasmine, giant rosemary bushes, artichokes, strawberry lined pathways…, soft marble floor throughout (cooling and great underfoot), comfortable bed & linens…and did we mention the view? Many distant Tuscan hill towns visible including Cortona. We were sad to leave and would love to return someday!! Grazie mil Fabrizio & familia!!
