Positive: There is charge station in the garage. There were a lot of compliments (i.e. few bottle of different water/soda/...) Сonvenient location of USB next to the bed for charging the device. Very friendly owners.
Negative: Lots of stairs, top floor - difficult with young baby (not dislike, rather specific of this location)

Positive: The owners daughter (who spoke a little English) met us and she was lovely. It took a little bit to find the location, even with GPS points. The property is included in a commune and it was not clear which building was the one we were supposed to meet at. That said, we texted with the daughter and she sent a pin her location and it was less than 100 m. away, just around the corner. The unit is on the 4th floor, so if walking stairs is difficult, be aware there is no elevator, but it was not an issue for us. In fact, it was a good workout! The apartment was sparkling clean and the amenities, including a washing machine, were just right. Opening the windows allowed a beautiful breeze, especially in the evening with the fan on. The hairdryer in the bathroom was one of the best I have ever used! The bed was very comfortable with charging stations on both sides of the bed! We were traveling with a rental car, so we loved that there was an enclosed garage available for no extra charge. The little porch was well shaded and a nice place to sit for breakfast and in the evening. We met some of the other people in the commune, who were kind and helpful. Also, the property is a 15 minute easy walk to the beach, with access to the trail directly across from the car garage. The beach umbrella, which was in the garage, was very much appreciated at the beach, so thank you for making that available. The location gave us easy access to other towns to travel to in the surrounding area. We also found delicious restaurants in Sestri Levante. Two that we recommend are: Don Luigi and CA'Du LUASSO. The owners were very responsive via text.
Negative: We are tea drinkers and there were no cups large enough to have our tea. It would be lovely to have about 4 larger mugs/cups available for those who like tea. We ended up drinking our tea out of cereal bowls! WE love being creative. This is purely a suggestion, but I am wondering if it would be okay to recommend that a couple of beach towels and maybe two beach chairs be made available, since traveling from far away makes packing them impractical. The only towels available for the beach were the bath towels and we felt bad using them. The final recommendation I would make- not a complaint at all- would be to have written instructions in English- on how to use the washing machine. It is not the same kind of washer that we use in America and I did not use it because I did not want to damage it by using it incorrectly. I also think it may be the type of machine that washes and dries, so, again, instructions would be helpful.
Summary: A wonderful place to stay. Quiet, peaceful and good location.
