Positive: The best place we have stayed in so far in Italy. VERY nice place and EXTREMELY nice owners…..theres hospitality, and there is Glora and her mum! WOWWWW……extremely nice, funny and kind people…..due to off-season there were hardly any busses going up to the old town and hop Gloria gave us a lift (grazie). Dont miss eating in the restaurant La Combusa which is part of the BnB…..you will be enjoying delicious food and will spend an entertaining evening with the staff……no doubt we will be back at the Il Vecchioe Il Mare Maratea if we are ever in the area again. Thanks for this lovely stay Gloria and Mum of Gloria.

Summary: The best place we stayed in Italy. Extremely nice, funny and kind owners. Delicious food.

Positive: Very good and abundant breakfast. The family has a very good restaurant on the site oper for dinner. It's mostly a fish menu, but the chef made special vegetarian dishes for me. Gloria was also so kind to accompany us to the start of the hike to the statue with her car.

Positive: This is not "just" a Hotel but a place run with heart and soul for gastronomy by a young promising woman with great skills. The welcome was uncomplicated and warm.The room is very romantic and clean.The location is just heavenly. Fiumicello is a quiet green lush town and has a few small and cozy shops and restaurants and fantastic seaviews! The restaurant downstairs is 100% gourmet and run by the same owner. Would defenately recommend this place to anybody, both for a night as well for longer stays. Perfect to relax!
