Positive: Lovely staff , very helpful and a beautiful situation on the Canal de Robine. Very quiet room and exceptionally comfortable bed. Large terrace off the bedroom, ideal for sitting having an aperitif!!
Negative: Absolutely nothing!

Positive: The plug in the spa bath would not hold water to allow water to go above rather air nozzles. Water sprayed all around the room.
Negative: The spa bath. Difficult to reach the walkway along the canal from the hotel.
Summary: The reception desk was nice. Our meals were good though we would have liked a menu in English.,

Negative: Breakfast very poor, no fresh fruit, was from cans.very poor cheese selections not good. Shower very slippery , water was all over the bathroom floor No handrails in the shower

Positive: The location was quite lovely with nicely landscaped grounds in the middle of public garden plots. It borders the canal. It is a 15 minute walk to town yet it is quiet. We enjoyed the private terrace.
Negative: We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed with no explanation as that had influenced our choice of this property. This was even more important as there are no other restaurants in the area. We ended up ordering food to be delivered as we had driven for many hours and did not want to get right back I tothe car.

Positive: The room actually looked far better in reality than in the photos. I would suggest the hotel to take new photos to do the rooms justice! The wooden floors are warm and comfortable and everything looks modern. The massive outdoor terrace offers an unbeatable view of the sunrise as well, and how nice to wake up to birdsong and to see the ducks in the pond below...I think a party of 4 could comfortably hang out on the terrace and there are sunbeds too. Got lots of sun even in December. The kitchenette is not to be underestimated - there is a proper stove, pots and pans, plates, utensils, microwave. During the holiday season, the staff were smiling and very welcoming too. The parking area is secured by a gate at night to which you have access with a code.
Negative: The jacuzzi seemingly hadn't been used in a while, so it ejected black flakes when we turned on the jets. We didn't want to go through the trouble of changing rooms though, as we had no time for that... A couple more things to make the stay even more perfect: hand towel holders in the bathroom under the counter, instructions on how to use the clothes (?) dryer (still don't know what it is), slippers and bathrobe... They close the parking lifts after 10pm or so; if you return late, you have to exit the parking completely to re-enter the hotel. A small inconvenience, the price to pay for higher security I guess.
