Positive: Anne and Ed were amazing hosts. Communicating with them was very easy, and they responded very fast, which I really appreciated. They definitely accommodated the requests I made and even had some complimentary welcome snacks. Getting in and out was super easy - I was a little worried beforehand as I haven't booked somewhere that puts the keys in the letter box, but it was super simple and wasn't complicated. The apartment was better than I expected, very clean, and everything looked very nice, new and polished. The view from the main bedroom is amazing! Loved having a well-equipped kitchen with a big fridge and freezer, cutlery, containers, plastic bags, glad wrap, bowls, plates, etc... very thoughtful! The beds are very comfy, all of my friends said they had the best sleep! Very easy to walk to the beach and it is close to popular cafes like the Paddock Bakery, as well as places like the North Burleigh Surf Club and of course, not too far away from the main Burleigh strip. We accidentally left a couple of things, and Anne just texted a photo through to me and said she would leave it in the letterbox so that I could pick it up, which was so lovely for her to do. They also emphasised that if we needed/wanted to ask them something, we could just send a text. They definitely want you to have the best time you possibly can. I would definitely book with Anne and Ed again.
Negative: Nothing about the property, just the roadworks going on at the moment, made it a bit difficult to book Ubers/Didis, but it was still fine to use them.

Anne, property owner, exceptionally easy to contact, left easy notes to follow and a lovely bottle of wine to drink on the balcony overlooking the beach! Everything you needed was in the apartment.

Negative: We let Anne know that we had trouble getting into the building with the key fob after hours and she was very prompt to get the issue fixed.
