Welcome to The Sandy! A gorgeous home in Historic Downtown Brenham. Simply check in and hang up your keys! You are now feet (LITERALLY FEET!!!) from Brenham's finest shops, restaurants, breweries, lounges, and entertainment. Perfect for a romantic getaway, couples, girls, or family trip. The Sandy is so spacious! She welcomes you with her mid 1800s soaring ceilings, warmth, and character while showing off her eclectic style.
The Sandy’s floor plan is conveniently split into two suites which allow for complete privacy. Each sizeable bedroom will wow you with soaring ceilings and is beautifully decorated in its own unique way. Each has a top-of-the-line hybrid mattress wrapped in crisp cotton sheets and a plush pull-out couch. This allows everyone to have a dreamy night's sleep.
Sitting on a grand parcel of land you will enter on our large private back driveway. You will be given a custom code to enter the home and once inside you can simply hang up your car keys! You are now within walking distance of Historic Downtown's finest restaurants, breweries, lounges, shops, and entertainment.
Please note: Our home sits close to downtown's historic train depot. The train does still run at different times. We have provided sound machines, and fans for each bedroom if needed.
Quiet time for outside is 10:30 pm. No loud noises outside after 10:30 pm. No Parties, Glitter, Confetti, or Smoking. Guests must park on the private back driveway.
Pets
We accept a maximum of two pets per booking. You must notify us of your pet at the time of booking. Our pet fee is $20.00 per pet, per day. This fee is not part of your booking fee and will be added once we are notified of your pet at the time of booking. Pets must be kenneled when left alone in the home. Owners are financially responsible for any damages made by pets.
For the safety and security of our guests and home security cameras are located on the front and back exterior of the house.

Summary: We celebrated our anniversary in Brenham and absolutely loved this property! The house is immaculate, comfortable and it was super convenient to be able to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. The hosts were very gracious and offered us snacks and beverages of our choice, even a gift card to a local confectionery for our anniversary, and were very responsive to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again and again! Highly recommend!!!

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about The Sandy! Huge rooms, updated kitchen and baths, great backyard, ample parking and generous hosts! And the ease of walking next door to go downtown for shopping and dining is an added plus!We took a girls trip to Round Top and loved the plentiful mirrors for makeup application and the provided pack & play for a baby traveling with us! Would also be great for two families!The sweet hosts were so thoughtful in their preparation for us. Just wait to see for yourself! Would definitely stay here again! (One thing to note, the trains are right next door and are frequent. Bring a sound machine and use the provided ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Did not ruin the trip but definitely something to prepare for.)

Summary: The Sandy was just as described -- well appointed and delightful. We loved the off street parking, the backyard and the front porch as well as the beautiful historic home. It was perfect for our Brenham get-away.

Summary: This was a great house and had everything we needed plus some nice extras like the snacks and fresh milk! The train is close by but the windows are good so did not really hear it! Highly recommend this house and it is super close to downtown Brenham about a two minute walk! Wish we had more time to enjoy it but if we go back to Texas will definitely rent again!!

Summary: This property is awesome if you want to be in Brenham or the surrounding areas. The owner was so sweet, left us a personalized gift basket, and was very responsive to our questions. You can walk in to town, the yard is huge and they allow pets :) Definitely stay here

Summary: This property was so cute and had so much character and charm. We absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to stay there again. Ken and Kat were great hosts too. They were available for questions and we definitely appreciated the little surprise snacks they left us. Overall I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.
