Positive: Best apartment of our trip. Very clean, large, comfortable apartment. Great for the family to stretch out. Quiet spot but bars and cafes located right outside the door. Public underground parking a 5 minute walk. Located at one end of the pedestrian zone in the city center, which starts the tourist walk to all the churches, museums, plaza mayor with the castle and Cathedral located at the opposite end of the pedestrian zone. FC Zamara store one block away if you planning to watch a soccer match while visiting.
Negative: Everything was perfect
Summary: Clean, comfortable apartment that is great for a family. Perfect location for visiting Zamora.

Positive: Unfortunately, I can give only give 4 stars but exceptional stay. And being solo, unfortunately, couldn't take full advantage of everything on offer here: several bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, etc. I'm an American journalist doing a series of articles on cycling in Portugal and Spain for several American magazines and this has been my best lodging by far (and I've booked over 40 places so far during my 3 month trip). I really liked the living room overlooking the square, and the ambience - great people watching (and I wasn't really worried about privacy as you're above it all). When I was waiting for place to be ready, I was sitting in the plaza and thinking how nice it would be if my lodging was one of the apartments overlooking this square ... and, it turned out, it was! The walk-in shower was great, and everything worked as it should (which you can never be sure of with any stay). Got needed use out of the washing machine (traveling by bicycle) - which, like most of the appliances, appeared to be like-new. WiFi was strong - again,. something not always guaranteed when a place says they offer WiFi. I could go on and on ... wish I could have booked a third night but they were full for the week. This place would be a particularly great base for exploring the town (especially for a family or a group of friends).
Negative: O.K., if I have to be nitpicky, I wish there was a kettle for my coffee in the morning. But, of course, all I had to do was heat up some water on the stove. The host also offered a free coffee module but I prefer my special instant blend. Getting to the right apartment was initially a bit confusing because I was told first place on left but climbing stairs I didn't see apartment that matched picture ... probably just a minor language issue. But it was all sorted out easily enough. Have to say, as others have noted, the elevator has to be one of the smallest I've ever come across but better than nothing (one person with a suitcase. However, I had a bicycle, so it was a challenge getting up stairs - but the elevator helped with taking a couple loads off the bicycle to make easier carrying up to second floor. I have limited mobility from a fused spine but, at 70, if I can get up the steps, you can too!

Positive: So much character, extremely spacious, clean and comfortable with a great outlook. Great instructions to find the apartment and great contact with the owner during this process. Highly recommend this place for a family.
