Summary: The details of the interior suite set this apart from many many other types of properties. The wood working is truly impressive.The art Gallery right next door is amazing with sooooo many things to chose from, predominantly made by Don( wood) and Denise( pottery). I was happy to find a few things to bring home.Don and Denise are super friendly and gracious.I highly recommend this if you are a single traveler or a couple, the size and lay out are ideal.The covered patio for BBQing was really nice with a door directly to the kitchen. The whole lay out was really smart and well thought outWell appointed bathroom with a very nice walk in shower.I travel with my dog and it was a perfect set up as there was a lot of green space close by where I could walk himThe living room has a large picture window almost at ground level so my dog enjoying watching squirrel TV !!!!

Summary: Very lovely spot for a get away. Very accommodating, and definitely would stay there again. They really have everything you need and the space is so cozy and welcoming. Denise and Don had numerous suggestions that really made our road trip back south top notch! Only thing I’d suggest is maybe a broom so we could have cleaned up after ourselves the way I like to when I leave a place/maintain while I’m there. They’ve got all the basics covered of what you need. The cove down the road is such a cute spot to walk around and enjoy a lovely sunset! I could go on but my number one suggestion is talk to them - they’ve got so many great ideas to make the most of your stay! (Plus you can’t miss the gallery!)

Summary: We stayed two nights at the BoomBoat suite. It was very clean and comfortable with beautiful and thoughtful attention to detail. The suite is cozy with a nice private outdoor space and a well organized kitchen. Denise and Don were welcoming and kind, respectful of privacy but available if needed. Our pup also enjoyed the stay watching the chipmunks running up the hill outside the window ! Very quiet and private - highly recommend if you are headed to the North Island. Oh ! the gallery is amazing!! worth spending some time there...

Summary: This was definitely a rare gem. We had a perfect stay here. Everything was of a high standard from the cleanliness to the little thoughtful touches and attention to detail. It was a pleasure to stay at Denise and Don's. They were generous hosts sharing their local knowledge and making us feel welcomed.

Summary: Autumn in Telegraph Cove is a very chill and quiet time. All the rest of the tourists have headed home, and it's mostly locals and the foolhardy adventurous sort of traveller. Denise and Don's property was cozy and quiet with all the amenities you could as for as self-reliant guest, and afforded me a great base where I could enjoy breakfast and dinner, and prepare lunches for days exploring the north end of the Island. Denise was super helpful and welcoming, and I'd recommend staying here either as a stormy adventure in the offseason or as a destination vacation in the summer.

Summary: Such a charming “cabin” with unique features! Our only complaint is that the futon couch was not super comfy to sit on while watching TV at night. But in an area like this there isn’t much time to sit inside anyway.
