Summary: Julien is a great host. He was very welcoming and answered all of our questions and asks. The house was a bit smaller than we thought, but it had everything we needed. The WIFI was a bit slow and bulky. We had to reset it from time to time. The location is very convenient. Close to beautiful Colmar and other areas in Alsace. We enjoyed our stay at this property. Summary: We (five friends in our mid thirties) had five lovely days in the cozy holiday home of the Zimmermanns. Everything is as described, the garden is lovely, we enjoyed sitting outside a lot, and the area is beautiful. Make sure you visit Eguisheim and Colmar and some of the castles surrounding Herrlisheim when staying there. Thanks for everything!!! <3

Summary: We loved the amazing boulongerie at our doorstep! Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for touring the region. The house had everything we needed for a fun family holiday.

Summary: This is an absolutely delightful cottage in the perfect location for visiting the Alsace. The hosts, Anita and Julien could not have been more gracious and helpful. We felt like we made new friends. We had 4 adults and we had room for our 2 cars and 4 bikes. The cottage is behind Anita and Julien's house in private garden. Our bikes were secure and safe with room to assemble them and store them. We love to go to markets and pick up local food to cook wherever we stay. Julien wheeled over a beautiful BBQ which we used several times while eating in their beautiful private garden. Anita and Julien were very helpful with local information and were available when we had questions. We even enjoyed an aperitif together one evening when they had friend visiting. Julien also brought over bicycle specific information, market information and a bottle of wine! The accommodations are clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. The cottage is a restored beautiful stone building. The location is central to Colmar and many of the beautiful villages which are all decorated with flower boxes. Herrlisheim is a town of locals so you can escape the tourists that visit all the villages which makes it a perfect place to relax and convenient to tour the area. The Alsace and the Vosges mountains are spectacular for cycling and if you love wine, you will be very happy. We also ate at a 1 star Michelin restaurant in Kaysersburg. It was very close. We visited the bakery across the street from the cottage every morning! In short, we would highly recommend a stay at this property. We have traveled and stayed in many places and found this to be a wonderful find with wonderful hosts. We hope that Anita and Julien can visit us some day in California!

Summary: Clean and cosy place in a small village. Anita and Julien are friendly and very helpful. The bakery is less than 50m away. We also went to the local restaurant and the pizzeria. Short drive to Eugisheim were we rented e-mountain bikes. Ca 10m drive to Colmar.

Summary: We spent a happy week in Anita and Julien's beautifully renovated cottage, on a shared courtyard with their home which was the original mairie in the village. Across the street is the Boulangerie Patisserie Rebert Pascal. The cottage has all conveniences tucked cunningly into the space available - and all in great good taste. Our daughter loved her room with French balcony hung with bright red geraniums and we enjoyed our garden space with a cozy nook just for us. Our hosts could not have been more hospitable and helpful with ideas for our stay and advice on making the most of the Alsace Wine Route. We would highly recommend this property.

Summary: We were six occupants. Couple plus four children. The house was convenient and suitable with all amenities. Our hosts were friendly and accommodate. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: We arrived to a very warm welcome from Anita and Julian, they were the loveliest of hosts that we have met in our 20 yrs of travelling. The 'little house' has virtually everything that you would need, and I am sure that if you wanted anything else, all you needed to do was to ask. The WiFi was sketchy, but there were 4 of us using it simultaneously. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Plenty of fresh linen. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, all worked perfectly. The boulangerie was literally across the road and our son enjoyed going to get breakfast. The region is by far the prettiest place that we have visited. The people are friendly and welcoming. We went to Germany and Switzerland for day trips and into the mountains twicce. Colmar and strasbourg were both good places to visit too. For car enthusiasts, Mulhouse is a must visit. The wine is lovely and we tried local specialities, we didn't have a bad meal out once in 2 weeks. We would definitely go back to the region, was sorry to leave. Thank you Anita and Julian :)

Summary: After spending time in Paris and Beaune, my husband and I met our 2 children and 4 grandchildren here to explore the Colmar area. Anita was out of town but Julien met us at the train station when we arrived. He was such a gracious host and made sure that we had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The weather was cold and rainy so we spent more time indoors than we originally thought. It was the perfect place to cook, play games, and just spend relaxed family time. We had a wonderful time. Our children live in Germany and plan to return someday and stay here again.
