The property is luminous with high ceilings and elegant tall windows. On the main floor there is a sitting room, a dining room, an open kitchen and two bedrooms. One with an ensuite. Les Hirondelles has a wonderful south facing front terrace from which there are views of the River Orb, the beach, the vineyards and the hills beyond. Behind the house, adjacent to the kitchen, there is a shaded and partially covered courtyard. Even in the hottest summer months, you will be very happy chilling out here. Beneath the house, at street level, is the old wine-cellar which serves the property as a garage.
Local facilities are close at hand. The bakers’ and a nice restaurant are either side of the property, with a small supermarket, bar and other restaurants a mere walk away.

Summary: Fantastic house in a great location! The only issue are the motorbikes driving fast in the street, nothing the owner can be blamed for.

Summary: Lovely, well equipped property in the beautiful village of Roquebrun. Fantastic location, we had a wonderful 2 week stay with everything we needed, including maps and leaflets. The aircon was heaven sent in the August temperatures we had this year! The owner, Monique, contacted us when we arrived to check everything was OK and was also easy to contact if we had any issues/questions. Thank you for everything!

Summary: This unique house is the perfect place to watch village life happen in front of you from the terrace. There are great views to the vineyards and hills beyond and always something going on in the village below. Inside, we particularly appreciated the kitchen and living room (Aircon!) and outside the terrace was a great place to watch the world go by, although the music from the restaurant next door did grow tiresome towards the end of the stay. Monique was attentive and always helpful when contacted and was even kind enough to bring an extra sun lounger for us to use. A great week!

Summary: We loved this house in the pretty village of Roquebrun. The house is traditional inside. Well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms with good showers. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There is a TV showing French channels and DVDs and CDs. The terrace at the front is large - sun loungers and a table and chairs. There is also a little terrace at the back which gets the sun early in the day. There are two adjoining bedrooms upstairs which are lovely - but the stairs are steep so probably not suitable for young children. The house is situated on the main street of the village, next to the boulangerie. The village has three restaurants - we tried them all and have no complaints! There is also a bar/pizzeria and another little cafe. There is a tourist office and walks from the village - and plenty of walking not too far from the village. The house has maps and leaflets to help with this. The village is on the river Orb - lovely for cooling off in the hot weather. Roquebrun is about a 45 minute drive from Beziers which is nice for a day trip. The owner, Monique, contacted us just after we arrived to check that everything was OK and it was easy to contact her if we had any further questions.
