We are thrilled to be able to share part our families history with you as you make memories of your own. This Historic log home (with amazing views from enclosed porch) was built in the 1930's andhabbed in 1990's has provided unique and unforgettable experiences to many- (Picture -waterfront BBQ to the sound of boating and tubing, or a nice bonfire under the stars as you enjoy the night with your loved ones!

Summary: Very relaxing, we were able to sit on the enclosed porch and enjoy the night. during the day spent time in the water, you can swim right off the dock. Diane was a gracious host. Over all a good place to stay if you need some down time.

Summary: Tom and Diane did everything they could to make our stay a great experience. Having lived in the area many years ago it was like coming home. Family and friends came and visited with us and we all enjoyed the BBQ and beautiful Bluff Lake. Thanks again Tom and Diane for your hospitality and in making our stay a memorable one.

Summary: This was the perfect location for our visit. To go to downtown Chicago we simply drove to the Antioch Metra Station 8 mins away. We had a great time in town at Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and highly recommend the architectural boat tour. If your visit permits, we also recommend a CUBs game (fun, fun, fun). We were able to visit Lake Geneva, which has crystal clear water and boutiques to shop. Our teenage daughters also enjoyed shopping at Gurnee Mills. Finally, our 9 year old's favorite activity was visiting the Jelly Belly Factory! The tour was free and we all had a great time. This house puts you in a great location to a lot of activities for all ages to enjoy. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Summary: We had a relaxing vacation at this lake house. We brought our own boat and were able to park it in their boat slip. We loved using the jet skis and swimming and fishing off the dock. The lawn is a great place to play bags or bocce ball. The apartment is spacious with a screened in porch with a good breeze coming through which was an enjoyable place for playing cards and scrabble. Diane and Tom were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home and took good care of us. The restaurants we visited in the area were friendly and the food was great. My boys want to move in but I think we will settle for coming back next summer.

Summary: My family stayed at this cottage (7110851) and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the spacious amenities that were very clean and well-maintained. Excellent TV viewing area with a tremendous porch that offered a great view of Lake Bluff. The hosts were outstanding in helping us have a memorable vacation. Caught great fish off the dock. Everything we needed (golf, bait shops, restaurants) were nearby. Looking forward to coming back next summer.
