Summary: Our stay was great! The view, the pool and the large terrace were the highlights of the house for us. Apart from that, everything was exactly as we needed it. The communication was very smooth and pleasant. We would definitely come back again!

Summary: Casa Semaphore is an amazing villa with plenty of space for a large group. The pool is a great size and by far the largest we could find in a villa for 10. If we ever return to Portugal this will be the first place we check.

Summary: A beautiful, spacious house with a beautiful view and on a practical note, very well equipped - kitchen, baby cot and high chair etc. Having a car is essential but we knew this before choosing the property - and there is a lot to see and do within a short drive. We had good communication with the owners before and during our stay - and great help from Tim to find the property (thanks also for accommodating our late check-in after our flight was delayed and we had problems picking up the hire car!)

Summary: Stunning villa; the pictures dont do it justice! Gorgeous view, well kept, just close enough to nearby towns that doesnt require a long cab/uber ride. The owner kept in touch and made us feel very welcome. Would 100% recommend.

Summary: Casa Semaphore is in a good quiet location. For those with families its roughly 30-40mins away from the waterparks, Zoomarine and Albuferia if your want to go on a boat trip. The main supermarket is 10mins up the road and pretty decent. You can't really walk anywhere but theres lots of restaurants within a 10min drive (beware not all open on a Sunday). As i mentioned its in a good quiet location slightly up the hill which gives a cool breeze in the evening and great views. It was slightly tricky to find, its a very small turning up a slightly steep road - but you get used it. The owner did provide a lot of useful location information in advance which helped us find the place. On that note communication was excellent and well in advance of the trip, with contact numbers and location information provided in advance. The property itself is spacious with all the bedrooms a decent size. The place is well kept, the kitchen well stocked (if a little tired and in need of updating). There was plenty crockery etc and a coffee machine, juicer, dishwasher washing machine all worked. The pool area and pool itself was great - clean and safe for the kids. The cleaner came every other day ?, anyway she dealt with the bins and recycling for us which was great. Overall i would certainly recommend to those with families and looking for a place to relax and use as a base to go out and see the local sites.
