Villa is located in the ancient village of Santa Barbara de Nexe, this beautifully architected, terracotta tile-roofed villa offers two bedrooms and all the luxury and comforts expected by it's owners, their families, friends and guests. A private pool featuring a spacious wrap-around lighted terrace surrounded by manicured and irrigated gardens that evoke a welcomed sense of tranquility. The villa faces southward toward the sea with awe-inspiring views of the Algarvian hills to the west and north. The master bedroom is located on the second floor, it offers south and west facing balconies with alluring views of the sea. Second bedroom is located on the main level.
Pool terrace is spacious with high-end patio furniture, including sun loungers. A second terrace is located at the rear of the villa and landscaped with native palm, olive and lemon trees, plants and flowers and a focal point is the classic Portuguese BBQ offering a venue to practice the culinary arts. Meals are served onto a uniquely designed teak table and seating for 6. A private gate opens onto a driveway providing tandem parking for 2 cars.

Summary: Wonderful stay at a great Villa. We were met by the lovely Silvia . Villa was beautiful and finished to a very high standard, could not fault it . It was exactly what we wanted with peaceful and quiet surroundings . Santa Barbara de Nexe is a very small town but had a couple of nice restaurants and grocery store with everything you would need just a short walk from the Villa . Faro and Loulé were an easy drive or Uber away as was Mar shopping Mall and Designer outlet. We all loved our time here and will be back !

Summary: We had a beautiful house and a nice location. It was quiet and out of the tourism. We liked it very much. The Agency was helpful and always reachable. We will come back!

Summary: If you want to get away from it all. This is the villa for you. Situated on the outside of the village. A short walk to a supermarket, village shop, an Italian , fish restaurant, Portuguese bar and traditional food, a church. All perfect if you want to stay in a village . The villa was of a high standard , a kitchen that had everything you needed to cook a fabulous meal. The pool and poolside furniture tasteful . You will be very comfortable here. We never used the barbecue in the back of the property as the weather was too hot. We tended to eat inside with air conditioning. We did have a car and familiar with the Algarve so we were able to go to the beaches and towns. A perfect base.

Summary: This property exceeded our expectations and is probably even nicer and more spacious than the photos suggest. It has a lovely pool and terrace as well as barbeque area to the rear of the house. The interior is spacious and tastefully equiped, with no shortage of anything you might need during your stay. It's within walking distance to the village, which has a few restaurants and snack bars as well as a small supermarket. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and it was a shame we could only stay for a week. Let's hope we can make it for longer next time! Thank you

Summary: Casa da Phoeba is an amazing villa and we are so grateful for finding it and spending two wonderful weeks there. Everything from the garden furniture to the kitchen appliences are high quality. The house itself is spacious and comfy and the garden with the pool area is lovely. But what really makes a difference is the care the owners has put into making it a home and providing a great experience; Spotlessly clean upon arrival you immediately relax and feel at home. All the manuals in one place, great binder with instructions and tips, newly sharpened kitchen knives etc etc. You have everything you need for a great vacation - and then some. The location is superb, very quiet and relaxing yet a only short stroll from the village where you find a couple of restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Laura was great and very quick to respons when we had a couple of questions. Overall it felt like a perfect blend of a luxury resort and your own home. We were sad to leave and would love to come back!

Summary: This villa is a must for the perfect family holiday - absolutely spotless and excellently presented. The pool is a great size and was well used by energetic teenagers! Luxurious patio furniture was well used by not so energetic adults! The neighbourhood is fantastically quiet and added to the relaxation. The village, which is a two minute walk away, has all the amenities you need and the locals are very friendly. Laura the owner is extremely helpful and responds to correspondence very promptly, and ensured that eveything ran smoothly from start to finish. Deposit was returned within a few days of returning. Would definitely return to this villa and highly recommend it. Big thanks to Laura for giving us the perfect holiday!

Summary: The villa is set just outside a lovely / friendly village, and is very private, facilities are excellent, all you need for a family break. We had a car and planned to drive to various places to visit, which is a must is you want to see some more of Portugal; but if you are happy to chill out, sun bathe and enjoy a BBQ, then you will just need yourselves and a bag. The villa is immaculate and kept very well, Victoriya (the lady who looks after the villa locally) is lolvey and on hand with any information you may require. An excellent choice for our family, it made a good holiday, a wonderful one.

Summary: We stayed at this beautiful villa from 14/08 - 21/08, it had everything and a lot more then we needed. Furnishings etc were of an exceptional high standard, it was in walking distance of local bars/supermarket etc.. Viktoria met us there on arrival and lived next door if we needed help. The owner Laura was very quick at answering emails, my only problem was getting breakages deposit back, that took 3 weeks, but that was not Laura's fault, as its paid back directly from Owner's Direct! Thank you Laura.
