Summary: My family absolutely loved this wonderful log cabin. You can see the pride the owner (Dan) put into his home... the pictures simply do not do it justice. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out, and we enjoyed the wonderful views while having coffee and throughout the day. Location is very private, but less than 1/2 hour drive to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park, and about 1.5 hours to the Badlands. We would rent this home again in a heartbeat! The indoor pool was a nice add - my kids loved it and we even had a "pool party" one night!

Summary: Dan and Shelly home was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. And it is true the pictures on the internet do not do this home justice The home inside and outside comfortable the plus the pools is just icing on the cake

Summary: We had a very long drive with 6 kids and 5 adults. The pictures on the internet do NOT do this lodge justice!! Saying it is beautiful doesnt even cover it. Dan and Shelley are awesome people and this is by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed!!! Easy location to get get and the scenery was gorgeous. Thank You so much for sharing your beautiful home with us for the week!!!

Summary: If you want the perfect place to stay, this is it. It had everything you could possibly need right there at your fingertips. I took five of my grandchildren on a whirlwind vacation to the Black Hills and this home made it amazing! Plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable. The kids absolutely loved the pool. The home is a little way out of Rapid City but that made it really centrally located to any sites in any direction. With the extra bathroom in the pool area that brought bathroom count to four! The bedrooms were all extra comfortable and plenty of towels, extra blankets, stand fans etc. Every room had its own air conditioner for flexible comfort. The kitchen had everything you could be needing and the whole house was beautifully organized. Triple garage plus parking spaces for plenty of vehicles. Overall the home was gorgeous and looked like it was built this year. Everything was extremely well taken care of. The owners, Dan and Shelly, are awesome people. We didn't see enough of them as we had absolutely no problems! As you sit on one of the amazing decks to enjoy the scenery, you have your own little piece of heaven!
