Positive: We recently stayed at this cottage and found it has a lot of potential. However, it seems the owner is relying a bit too much on the property’s charm without maintaining it properly. Positives: Easy Booking & Check-in: The reservation process was smooth, and the self check-in worked flawlessly. Good Description: The online listing reflects the property accurately. Excellent Location: Perfectly located to explore the many attractions in the area. Private Parking: A large, private parking space directly on the property was a big plus. Garden: The front garden is a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Negative: Cleanliness: Unfortunately, every room needed a proper deep clean. It was by far the dirtiest accommodation on our road trip. Kitchen Condition: The kitchen was in such an unclean state that we chose not to cook at all – a real downside since self-catering is important to us when traveling. Living/Dining Area: Furniture and surfaces in these areas were dusty and greasy. Bathroom Supplies: For basic amenities, we expected at least a full roll of toilet paper, but were left with just a broken-off piece – definitely below expectations. To be fair, the bed linen and towels were clean, which we appreciated. This place could be truly wonderful with better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. We’ve attached a few photos to share some impressions from our stay. We actually have many more, but unfortunately we can only upload four.

Positive: The Location was beautiful the views were spectacular and there were plenty of places to visit on the doorstep
Negative: Couldn't adjust heating and it felt a bit cold at times luckily we took logs which warmed the living room and we were aware the owner sold logs but felt it should not have been a nessesserty to light the log burner which was lovely and added to the homely feeling also would have benefitted from a blind on the kitchen window as anyone wanting to look in could see clear when the lights or TV were on
Summary: We enjoyed our stay it had everything we needed and more ,would recommend and would definitely stay
